AST 2149 - Door of Energy, Treasure Chamber

The snow covered a vast area; it seemed like a world of snow here. There were evergreen trees here but they were mostly covered by the snow, leaving a small part of them exposed.

The sun rose up gradually on the east; it was s.h.i.+ning brightly but not scorching hot. Nonetheless, it warmed up the souls of the human who had seen it.

Everything was in absolute silence, birds flew over and dropped by on the tree branches sometimes. As they soared up high again, the snow deposits fell down.

“Qing Shui, we have reached the area shown in the map, but it is very hard to find the location of the treasures,” Beihuang Fan stopped and looked at the surroundings.

“I’m not worried about this since I looked for it twice. The Treasure Map is an entry pa.s.s so we will sense it once we approach where it’s located,” Qing Shui felt slightly relieved. He had no idea where to search for previously, and now it was much easier after knowing the location.

“Let’s look around nearby then, the region stated in this map is big,” Beihuang Fan had no better idea.

Qing Shui was looking forward to finding the treasures which were stated in theTreasure Map. After all, he got the Emperor’s Qi from the Treasure Map; so this time, he wished to find another great treasure.

Time ticked by and they did not meet anything else than two huge snow bears. Until now, the Treasure Map in his hand showed no response and the sky was getting dark too. A day pa.s.sed before they noticed it.

Qing Shui found a strong plum blossom surviving in the snow and plucked it. He handed it over to Beihuang Fan, “Miss Fan, marry me. I really love you lots……”

Qing Shui always remembered to pursue her to avoid getting hit, so he tried to confess to her in every chance he got. She asked Qing Shui to chase after her and he would get beaten if he did nothing. He was not afraid of getting hit but actually longed for it; he might even take advantage of her while he was beaten. However, he felt that was not the right way...

Beihuang Fan took the flower, her lips lifted upwards and formed a curve. Qing Shui took it as a smile, a destructive and beautiful smile.

“What do you love about me?” asked Beihuang Fan.

“I love your beauty, love your cruelty, and love it when you punch my face,” Qing Shui looked at the pretty face which was able to overturn the world.

Beihuang Fan smiled. This time, she was really smiling compared to the previous one. She stared at Qing Shui, “Cut the chatter, I won’t hit you next time. Actually, I wasn’t really hurting you when I hit you last time…”

“I know, you only touched me several times and played with me……” Qing Shui was speechless, he got bruises everywhere from just playing with her.

“You must be feeling itchy,” Beihuang Fan realized his tease.

“Hit me all you want now, but wait until I surpa.s.s you. I will definitely strip you and hit you,” Qing Shui glared at her from head to toe fiercely.

Beihuang Fan was about to hit him as Qing Shui said hastily, “Let’s go and continue looking for a while. If we can’t find any clue, let’s take a rest somewhere and continue tomorrow.”

Qing Shui only took advantage of her from words now; he had never met a woman like her. This woman acted more than she spoke, she rarely talked. After two hours, they gave up searching. It was dark now and the moon was up in the sky. The bright moonlight was incredibly sacred; whereas the beauty under the moonlight was outstandingly pretty. Right now, Beihuang Fan looked like a G.o.ddess in a white outfit.

“What a shame that a beauty like you has no interest in men,” Qing Shui sighed.

“I don’t dislike men. I just haven’t met a man that I like,” Beihuang Fan replied with an argument.

She did not understand why she argued with Qing Shui, she never did that. She was not interested in an argument.

“I am handsome and elegant, also popular and adorable. Everyone likes me, what kind of man are you looking for?” Qing Shui looked at Beihuang Fan as if she was too picky.

“I only feel that you are thick-faced, being baffled is your best quality. I never thought that you are handsome,” said Beihuang Fan seriously.

“Alright, we have different taste and preferences; we are different types of people,” Qing Shui sighed as though he felt very sorry about it.

“You b.a.s.t.a.r.d, don’t ever say something so shameless to me again,” Beihuang Fan no longer felt like hitting him. She was fl.u.s.tered by the statement since only couples would have the same preferences…

“That wasn’t even shameless. Alright alright, I’ll never mention it again, I won’t say it even if you beg me,” said Qing Shui firmly.

Suddenly, Qing Shui realized a dim light on the Treasure Map under the moonlight. A magical power seemed to be rus.h.i.+ng over and lead Qing Shui to discover it.

“There’s a hint, woman. Let’s check it out,” said Qing Shui. He stepped forward slowly while following his instinct.

Beihuang Fan felt strange being called a woman, but she followed Qing Shui and advance accordingly.

It was a valley here; there were many valleys scattered here and there. They were heading to a small, almost negligible track in the valley. It was a groove which could accommodate three to four persons at once.

The more they walked in, the greater the magical sensation became. The small track was in the open-air and the stone walls on both sides were as smooth as the gla.s.s. They were obviously there for a long time instead of recently emerged.

The wonder of nature, but Qing Shui did not think much of it. After walking for some time, the Treasure Map in Qing Shui’s hand became brighter. At this moment, Qing Shui looked at a stone wall nearby. There was a slight beam of light that gradually became brighter and brighter. Then, it formed a door-like halo.

“Here, we found it,” Qing Shui smiled.

“Looks like this Treasure Map is the key and the Door of Energy won’t appear without the map,” Beihuang Fan was surprised too.

After entering, Qing Shui discovered that it was just a simple, small cave or a stone chamber. Initially, Qing Shui was prepared to fight since he was expecting a guardian beast or something protecting the treasure. He apparently worried too much.
