Chapter 603 - Deity Overlord, Sacrificed!

On the coffin, Lord Kun, Zhu Jiumu and Wen Changgong ran quickly. As soon as they entered the ritual, they felt their energy beginning to careen out of their control, their soul was going to fly out of their body and merge with the ritual.

“Such a terrifying ritual! What is this?”

Lord Kun frowned deeply, and he immediately shrunk himself and said, “Be careful, do not cast any techniques like the Avatar! The larger you are, the stronger the power you will have to face!”

Right away, both Zhu Jiumu and Wen Changgong shrunk their body in shock. Fortunately for them, although their energy was about to spiral out of control, the centre of the ritual was not on the coffin but on the lamp floating in front of Zhong Yue. Thus, it posed little threat to them.

Wei Xue G.o.d roared angrily, and one after another, Wei Xue G.o.ds emerged from the blood ocean while the blood ocean turned into a huge face that started to fight back against the power of the ritual but all of these were in vain.

Even a G.o.d could not escape from the centre of the altar!

The trio were in shock upon this scene, they looked at each other and continued proceeding towards their destination. Just when they were about to leave the coffin cover, a nine headed celestial appeared at the other end of the coffin cover, blocking their path.

“s.h.i.+ Buyi!”

Lord Kun snorted and whispered to the other two, “He is now a monster G.o.d! Wen Changgong, stop him!”

However, on the altar of Black Mountain, where the power of the ritual surged everywhere, Wen Changgong's power was greatly diminished.

Wen Changgong shouted, stared at s.h.i.+ Buyi with his angry eyes and two extremely sharp golden needles flew out from his eyes. The needles were something forged from the Solar Divine Ray, but unlike Zhong Yue's Solar Divine Saber, his Solar Golden Needles were much more smaller. The needles however, were much more condensed with power and they outperformed the saber in other ways!

To Wen Changgong's dismay, before the needles could even reach s.h.i.+ Buyi, they disappeared without a sign as they were disintegrated and merged into the ritual.

Wen Changgong had a shock upon seeing this but s.h.i.+ Buyi also had a shock; Wen Changgong's attack was out of his expectation and if the golden needles were not disintegrated, s.h.i.+ Buyi will definitely be injured and the next moment will be his last.

But now, they had no choice but to try their best after Lord Kun realized the dangers.

If they kept the demonic tree and coffin away, the array formation will be fully operating and by that time, Lord Kun and the other two in the Black Mountain would be turned into raw energy for the ritual.

“Lord Kun, can you sense your Divine Wing Saber now?” asked Zhu Jiumu suddenly.

Lord Kun quickly shook his head, “It's very close, but I still can't get in touch with it. I need to get even closer so that I can retrieve my it and destroy Zhong Yue in one strike!”

Without hesitation, Zhu Jiumu drew his bow and shot an arrow towards Zhong Yue. The arrow was about to pierce through Zhong Yue's chest, but a G.o.dly sword had appeared out of nowhere and knocked the arrow away.

It was Xuan Yuan! He stood behind Zhong Yue and channeled power into his sword, blocking Zhu Jiumu's attack. His face, however, was a bit pale after that.

“Xuan Yuan, do not be afraid, do not overthink. All you have to do is visualize the divine sword.” Zhong Yue said gently.

He then said again, “With that power of the divine sword of Human Sovereign, you are strong enough to protect me.”

While he talked, arrow after arrow flew toward him with incredible speed, but Xuan Yuan stood right there, swung his sword around and knocked the arrows away, creating loud and frequent noises.

Although young Xuan Yuan was no match for Zhu Jiumu, the divine sword of Human Sovereign was so strong that even if he couldn't fully control it yet, he could still control where he wanted the sword to appear as long as the Human Sovereign is still here. Zhu Jiumu kept shooting arrows, leading the way and when he pa.s.sed by the battlefield of s.h.i.+ Buyi and Wen Changgong, he shot towards s.h.i.+ Buyi immediately.

That arrow went straight for s.h.i.+ Buyi, and when s.h.i.+ Buyi wanted to knock it off, the sword appeared again and blocked the arrow once again!

The appearance of the sword had left s.h.i.+ Buyi momentarily stunned!
