Chapter 150 - The Death of the Qing Long Keep Lord

The lord of Qing Long keep said, "It is my honor to die by the hands of someone as strong as you. What a shame, my lifelong wish was to die fighting for the monsters, or in the battlefield against the humans, the celestial races or the dragon races. Never have I thought that I would die by the hands of my own kin, and especially by you."

s.h.i.+ Buyi said calmly, "That's because you are too ambitious. If you had not tried to to steal my 【Monster G.o.d Ming King's Art】 to find out my weaknesses then you would not have to die here today. Perhaps, you might fight with honor and die with glory in the battlefield after I conquer the East Barren."

s.h.i.+ Buyi sighed and said, "Seems like we are not on the same page… You leave me no choice but to kill you, senior martial brother."

On the other side, blood flowed out from Zhong Yue's seven orifices as he was affected by the thunderous voice of the two incredibly strong individuals. I have to leave this place as fast as possible or I would be killed by the aftermaths of their battle…."

Without having much attention to spare, Zhong Yue visualized the golden crow wings and he flew away in high speed, just like a meteor.

At the same time, the Qing Long Keep Lord and s.h.i.+ Buyi finally began their fight. Two bright rays ascended from two huge mountains that covered the sunlight, which brightened up the area around them!

Then, the rays dispersed and the surroundings became pitch black in a second. In the split second where the surrounding brightened up and turned black again, invisible waves were emitted in all directions vigorously, evaporating the water in centre of the river between the mountains, causing the water on the side of the river to gushed towards the sides, which turned into rogue waves within seconds!

Then, the sound of a huge explosion could be heard. Zhong Yue was flying in the air and he had already flown for about a hundred miles with a speed faster than sound. But it must be understood that this was the speed of sound in the air. The shockwaves created by the fight caused the air outside to compress, crazily increasing its density.

The rate of which sound propagated through a material increased with its density; traveling quickly in the air, even faster in water, but the fastest through solid matter! The shockwaves of the attacks of the Qing Long Keep Lord and s.h.i.+ Buyi created a vacuum around their immediate vicinity which only served to compress the air further out to a density that was virtually equivalent to solid matter. This enabled the sound wave to travel with a ghastly velocity!

With little effort, the soundwave soon caught up with Zhong Yue, shattering his wings and causing him to fall from the sky. As he fell, he was no longer able to stop the blood from gus.h.i.+ng out of his mouth!

But he did not stop moving even after falling; as soon as he touched the ground, he started running with his life on the line quickly!

A second sound wave was emitted and Zhong Yue vomited blood again, causing him to stagger as he continued to run away with gritted teeth. He ran with his life and after running for a few hundred miles, when he felt that the sound waves no longer posed a threat to his life, he stopped and let out a long breath.

Then, Zhong Yue immediately took out the various precious pills given by the messengers from various factions and he swallowed them down as he treated his wounds with the medicinal efficacy from the pills.

Judging from the powerful waves created during their battle that almost killed him, even if the power of the Qing Long Keep Lord is not as strong as the Saint City Lord, there would not be a huge gap between their power. I wonder if he could survive….

As soon as he thought this, the cacophony of the battle unexpectantly halted and Zhong Yue's heart sunk, The Qing Long Keep Lord is dead….

This showed just how cruel the compet.i.tion was between the monsters!

Zhong Yue was of two minds when it came to characters like the Qing Long Keep in the monsters.  He admired his personality, but also worried about the calamity someone like him would bring to the human race!

s.h.i.+ Buyi is a formidable lord in this generation and he can ensure the prosperity of his race for the time being but after his death, there will be no one to continue his legacy and what he had achieved. His death would only cause the monster race to spiral into chaos due to the ma.s.sive power vacuum that would be left in the wake of his conquest for power. But a hero will cultivate a new bright generation that could bring light his entire race. Without the likes of the Qing Long Keep Lord, the monsters will welcome a deteriorating scene after the death of s.h.i.+ Buyi!

He then looked and checked on his injuries, causing him to laugh bitterly. This was because the two waves of soundwaves inflicted even heavier injuries than the injuries he suffered in the battle with the supporters of Heavenly Monster Li Jun back then.

The boat, the girl, the lake and the green leaves formed a picturesque scene as the sunset shone upon them.

As Zhong Yue heard the melodious singing, he was uncontrollably sent into a deep sleep while standing beside the lake but the dragons under his legs were still carrying him towards the center of the lake!

Zhong Yue had a shock and as he almost recovered from the charm, the singing sounded again, enticing him back to sleep!

On his back, his soul leaped out and turned into the eighteen feet tall Ming King with eight hands. Zhong Yue then looked behind and he saw two Awakening level QI Pract.i.tioners closing in quickly on their monster cloud and as the cloud dispersed, two weird looking Qi Pract.i.tioners appeared.

Zhong Yue turned back again and he looked towards the lotus boat and the lotus picking girl on top of the boat as he smirked and said, "Disciple of Shu Qianqiu and the senior martial sister of King Teng. Am I right? Senior Martial Sister Qing He?
