Chapter 211 - A Place of Unrest

Zhong Yue quickly explained, "Senior martial sister, they are my maidservants."

"Maidservants, what a pity, they don't even have a decent status."

Chi Liannu glanced over at Qing He and shook her head, "I heard that Shu Qianqiu is planning on ingratiating himself to my teacher, which is why he has married you over to Junior Martial Brother Yue. Initially, I thought that you would be given a decent status, but who knew you would be just a maidservant."

Qing He nearly fainted, she yelled angrily, "What do you mean by marrying me over? When did my teacher made such a decision, how is that I'm completely unaware of this at all?"

Chi Liannu chortled, "What? You didn't know at all? Word has already spread throughout the saint city, saying that you are marrying him. But now, it seems more like you were simply sent over as a gift. What a pitiful girl you are. However, if you are beautiful and fawning enough, you can still be a concubine; when your master is on the bed with his wife, you can still take over her place when she gets tired. Well, that's not too bad, is it?"

Chi Liannu's words were like thunderbolts that struck directly at her head, Qing He was stupefied as she mumbled, "Did my teacher really gift me over to him…."

Chi Liannu measured Qing He with her eyes, smiled and said, "You are indeed pretty, but are still somewhat lacking. Seems like you are destined to be a concubine for life at best."

Zhong Yue stepped forward, bowed and said, "Teacher."

Zhong Yue grew even more reverent, he stood steadfast while Shu Buyi smiled and said, "Get up. This time coming out from the closed door training, I was planning to examine your cultivation progress. But as I've heard of everything that you've been up to, my heart no longer worries for your cultivation progress and I'm very gratified to have you as my disciple."

Zhong Yue's heart was undulating with unease, he had zero clue as to why the strongest existence of the monster race had summoned him over. Just when he was thinking about it, s.h.i.+ Buyi said smilingly, "However, at the same time of being happy for your incredible cultivation progress, I'm also very worried that your rapid increase in prowess would leave your cultivation foundation in an unsteady state. Zhong Yue answered his instruction and slowly cast the moon and sun pupils, the sun moon pupils formed in his eyes in a slow motion.

Rays flashed in s.h.i.+ Buyi's eyes, he did not blink even for a single second, and ordered Zhong Yue to repeat the process once again. 

A few times Zhong Yue had cast the sun and moon pupils, s.h.i.+ Buyi pondered earnestly and said, "Good disciple, show me the prowess of your divine eyes."

Zhong Yue followed, he blasted out the Pure Yin and Pure Yang Sword Qi, the two Sword Qi were incredibly strong, interwinding one another like two soaring dragons. 

s.h.i.+ Buyi's eyebrows undulated as he stared closely at the Yin Yang Sword Qi; suddenly, Xin Huo nervously prompted Zhong Yue in his psyche ocean, "Brat Yue, he has raised his killing intent towards you!"

Zhong Yue's heart palpitated heavily, cold sweat nearly rushed out from the pores, Xin Huo then heaved a breath of relief and said, "He repressed it…."

The aftershock was still shuddering Zhong Yue's heart in fear; unknowingly, s.h.i.+ Buyi's killing intent had spiked before he forcibly repressed it the next second. 

s.h.i.+ Buyi smiled and said, "My dear disciple, your heartbeat is rising."

Zhong Yue bowed and answered, "The divine eyes are exhausting my energy, it is still too difficult for me to maintain."

"I see."

s.h.i.+ Buyi said placidly, "Your divine eyes are separated into two, even your teacher I can't see any flaws in them as of now. Come back when you are stronger, until then, we shall see if any hidden flaws would emerge. You are dismissed."

Zhong Yue bowed and left, he dare not even let his guard down after he left the lord manor, I must leave, now!

s.h.i.+ Buyi watched as Zhong Yue walked out of the manor, mumbling to himself, "There's no mistake, this is exactly how I cast it, it can't be wrong.
