Amidst a loud bang, a dark blue rocket came flying from the sky, aiming at Mogensha.

The dark blue Rocket was not too fast at first, but when it got closer, strange ripples started appearing around it. As for where they stood compared to other type of gunners, their range was second only to the snipers. The interval between their shots was longer than even the snipers, but because they aimed through telekinesis, they had very high accuracy. In addition, besides being able to deal high physical damage like the snipers, the magic snipers' shots also carried fearsome negative effects!

At this critical moment of life and death, Mogensha, who had lost his balance and was falling down, kicked hard at a car behind him with a scream. The power of this shot was so terrifying because the small light blue pebble had a very unusual origin.

In order to get one of these pebbles, one must first acquire the soul equipment of an Awakener who was frozen to death. In addition, the Awakener must die from from a natural disaster and not from a contestant's attack.

When the soul equipment was decomposed by a specialised enchanter, there would be a certain chance of acquiring a pebble like this, called the 'Chill of Resentment'. This particular 'Chill of Resentment' was obtained by Pryzbilla after he plotted against an Awakener in the world of the disaster film, "The Day After Tomorrow", causing the Awakener to freeze to death.

"d.a.m.n it!" Pryzbilla could not help but swear and kick out at the wall next to him.

That's right. If Mogensha hadn't courageously dashed forward at that critical moment to meet the shot with his eye, the 'Chill of Resentment' would surely have blown up in his brain... Taking a blow of that magnitude, he would almost certainly die.

Hissing noises rose from his head. The thing he wore on his head, which looked like a headgear and also like a pair of windproof goggles, started to transform in both material and shape. In the end, it turned into a brown wrinkled hat which everyone would find familiar.

It was the Sorting Hat from the Harry Potter franchise! But the hat now had various decorations on it, such as magic crystals, phoenix feathers and so on. The decorations did not make the hat seem more elegant at all; rather, the hat now looked pretty low-cla.s.s.

KD then took out a bottle of the same brownish-red potion and poured it on the hat. The hat actually opened its mouth and drank every drop of the liquid. It then started to sing.

"Oh you may not think I'm pretty,
But don't judge on what you see,
I'll eat myself if you can find
A smarter hat than me.

You can keep your bowlers black,
Your top hats sleek and tall,
For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can cap them all."

"O great Sorting Hat, one as almighty as you must know if there are any places with a violent fluctuation in time and s.p.a.ce around us?" enquired KD in a respectful tone.

The Sorting Hat coughed, as if he choked on something.

"That, well...that'll drain a lot of my energy."

KD bowed deep and said, "But I hear that you can do anything, O great Sorting Hat!"

"That goes without saying!" the hat proudly claimed. "I! Can do anything! Give me a moment!"

After a few seconds, it said in a very tired voice, "In a car two miles west from here."

KD immediately rushed to the window and looked to the west. The place in question was a plaza in the middle of the city with fountains, trees and exercise facilities. KD's eyes immediately fell upon a car with a radar, which looked like an Outside Broadcasting Vehicle (OBV).

In that vehicle, he could see two people sitting face to face. Although they were both men, their hands were very lovingly intertwined with together. Their eyes were shut tight, their eyelids constantly trembling. In front of them floated a circle of light, and in the middle of the light was a small figure of a human who looked exactly like Sheyan!

A large amount of black ropes could be seen tightly wrapped around the little man. The ropes seemed to be made from seaweed and the gray hair of the dead, dug out from graves. The little man was struggling with all his might, but he could not break free from the horrible bondage.

Suddenly, there was a flash of light! The French window in front of KD cracked and shattered into millions of tiny crystals. A sharp object swept past KD's face, leaving behind a line of b.l.o.o.d.y scratch! Blood slowly trickled down KD's face.

Pryzbilla was shocked and immediately got into a defensive posture, but KD slowly walked back and sat down while gesturing to Pryzbilla to calm down. However, he did not look too happy. "Sure enough, it's the Incantators of Destruction."

Pryzbilla's expression turned ugly too, but it became a sneer after that. "Those guys are here, too? Good! G.o.d has sent them to us! They murdered Keiko in such a cruel way in the Jura.s.sic world; I can't let them off after merely killing one of them!"

KD closed his eyes and told Pryzbilla in a barely discernible voice, "We will get our revenge, but not now. Don't you realise it? Those Incantators of Destruction are normally reckless and lawless, but they only dare to provoke me just now instead of attacking me straight up. His Excellency has cast a huge net this time; he's determined to strike down his prey. None of us can afford to make a mistake! Think about his horrible ability. The next gla.s.s of water you drink might kill you!"

The muscles on Pryzbilla's face twitched a few times. He looked as if he still had something to say, but in the end, he just slammed the table heavily and ran back to the window. He started taking aim.

KD suddenly said, "It appears that the Incantators of Destruction are taking the guy called Seaman very seriously. They've actually used 'Grudge', the S-rank curse ability of the twins, to restrain him. A joint restriction performed by a pair of twin Awakeners....he'll probably need at least an hour to break free. You should be careful not to attack Seaman so as to avoid waking him from the curse. They cleverly separated the members of Party Ace from each other, preventing them from grouping up and forcing everyone to fight their own battles! With the powerful magic sniper and magicians in the distance, the situation became even more dangerous.

Sheyan's eyes were filled with a wild fury. He had already figured out the intention of the mastermind behind the scenes!

Sheyan did not enter the last world with his party. They fought by themselves and suffered a heavy loss. This world, he was together with them, but what difference did it make? He could only watch his party members being attacked without being able to do anything.

He could only look on helplessly as his brother Sanzi bled from a broken rib when he was trampled on!
