Fatty Luo… easily won the first match. As for the opponent’s skills, he was not the strongest team member of the Gemini. Fatty was used by the Gemini for the Field Avoidance Horse Racing tactics. Returning to Lear’s side, the fatty felt a little ashamed even though he had won the match.

Somewhat unexpected, yet reasonable. Luo Fei had, by now, been the focus of attention, and Lear was not nearly as prominent.

The other members of the team were also extremely composed. Unconsciously, Lear had also completed his baptism of the Dynasty battle team and regained firm control of his ruling. Gemini’s captain, Bartley, was short and stout. Bartley debuted in the second match, and this pace was unexpected for everyone as well.

Bartley looked at Lear calmly. Looking at the previous battle, Luo Fei had yet to recover completely, and he was relieved. As such, the Dynasty battle team was no longer terrifying. He took to the field to disrupt the momentum. Regardless of whether Lear would come out or otherwise, he would win the match and haul the compet.i.tion to the team battle round.

Lear laughed. He could find someone to eliminate Bartley but deemed it unnecessary. He was the captain, and he wanted to bring the Dynasty battle team into the quarter-finals.

Lear went up. Truthfully, Bartley was somewhat surprised.

Lear chose the Eternal Aries, the latest mech from the Kronos family. Of course, this type of mech was not well-known in the Milkyway Alliance’s market.

Bartley chose Gemini’s Ice Mace mech, a very st.u.r.dy mech.

The two mecha were confronted each other. This was a good opportunity for Bartley. Bartley’s momentum was rising constantly, and his aura instantaneously pressed down on Lear. This control of the momentum was a clear sign of an Earth-rank warrior, probably Earth One Status.

Lear’s Eternal Aries was a stunningly bright silver. Suddenly, a silver electric light exploded, tearing at Bartley’s momentum. The two forces collided, an even match.

w.a.n.g Zheng was not surprised. With Lear’s talent and forbearance, it would be an issue if he had not attained Earth-rank. What was uncertain was the level of his Earth-rank. Of course, what was imperative was how far his ability had progressed.

Others’ ability to conceal was limited, but w.a.n.g Zheng had seen Lear’s forbearance, and it had reached a horrific point. His way of thinking was different from that of average people. Sometimes, w.a.n.g Zheng could not figure out Lear stood for.

Lear’s momentum did not overwhelm Bartley, and w.a.n.g Zheng’s eyes flashed a glimmer of gold. a.n.a.lysis!

The clash of such momentum was enough to create minute problems in the generation of power. The only ones that were paying a bit closer attention to Lear were probably w.a.n.g Zheng, Achilles, and Lie Xin. The compet.i.tion had gone on for too long.

Lear’s Eternal Aries struck first. Speed-type Ability Xs were not uncommon, and were practical. The Eternal Aries appeared to have been customized for him. It was somewhat extravagant but was truly aggressive when combined with Lear’s ability.

The Eternal Aries chased down the Ice Mace, attacking frantically. The Geminis were not afraid to be suppressed, regardless of the position. Bartley’s defense was impeccable and firm. He was most undaunted by Lear’s speed ability.

The successive powerful attacks yielded no results. On the contrary, the Ice Mace managed a counterattack during Lear’s momentary rest. Generally, the Geminis would not attack much, but when they did, the attacks were definitely very robust.

It had always been a problem whenever there was a compet.i.tion between strength and speed. From the cold weaponry period till now, it was difficult to ascertain whether strength was better, or if speed was better. However, mastering the ability of speed gave a better edge. Lear could still break away from his opponent.

Like a patient hunter, Bartley was deliberate. Regardless of Lear’s frantic attacks and multi-angled movement, he was able to deal with all of them. As long as the defense was compact, there would be an opportunity. As long as Bartley could seize that opportunity, death would be definite for Lear.

Lear understood this principle as well. Speed produced better results in team battles as it allowed for attacks and retreats, as well as seizing for opportunities. However, in one-on-one battles, especially when confronted with such a master, it would appear inadequate. Most importantly, the impression that Lear had always given was that he was unstable, anxious about confrontations, and opportunistic.

Like a ray of light, Lear’s silver mech flew towards Bartley – Eternal Electro-light Curved Decapitating Attack!

His speed was somewhat fast, attacking almost instantaneously.

Bartley let out a sarcastic smile. He had seen videos of Lear. He knew, of course, that this sort of curved attack was unique, but this was an advantage of speed which he could not keep up with. This he was certain of.

However, there was always the Achilles’ heel in any attack. There was only an imprudent warrior, but no indestructible attacks.

In spite of Lear’s attack, the Ice Mace rushed forward suddenly, striking directly with full force.

Boom…

The Ice Mace staggered a couple of steps while Lear’s Eternal Aries spun like a whirlwind, stabilizing only after flying back a dozen meters.

Bartley could not help but laugh out loud. It was not a deliberate ridicule, it was just that the sense of triumph was indisputable. So long as the start was thwarted for the successive attacks with this sort of speed type, it would be impossible to connect the subsequent attacks.

It takes one strong man to defeat ten skilful men!

The members of the Dynasty battle team were beginning to feel anxious. Zhou Yun and the others were also looking at each other. Lear was stronger than them. But what was the point of being a little stronger than them?

Son of Saint candidate? They could not be this feeble. There would bound to be trouble.

Although IQ was very important, the Saint Sect advocated strength. A person could only be a counsellor and not the Son of Saint if he only had IQ without strength.

While smiling, Bartley’s huge alloy mace rumbled suddenly toward the ground. Boom…

The Eternal Aries s.h.i.+fted its position instantly. His original position exploded. Bartley’s Ice Mace had already charged forward. This mace coagulated such a ma.s.sive amount of momentum that even though the attack had yet to hit, the suffocating momentum had already overwhelmed everyone.

Lear’s momentum was totally suppressed; every part of him was sealed off. He was unable to activate his speed…

This was the full force of a Gemini Earth-rank master. Even with the protection of the energy s.h.i.+eld, it would still explode under the bombardment. Unless teleportation was activated before the attack, it was extremely likely that Lear would be hammered down before the teleportation.
