w.a.n.g Zheng’s sense disappeared. Constantine’s spiritual power boomed and Huiyin collapsed. Constantine’s figure disappeared and reappeared in the skies over the temple.

They were gone by the time Constantine arrived where they were. He didn’t find anything even after using his spiritual power to search throughout the city. They must have gone out of the Holy City then!

w.a.n.g Zheng and the rest appeared in the transmission array near the misty forest outside of the Holy City. They were waiting for Yuan Jing’s team. They took the risk to appear before the enemy so that they could rescue Meng Tian. There wouldn’t be another chance like this if this failed.

Time trickled away. The Holy City started its search, and people in groups of three to five had expanded their search area to outside of the Holy City. Every candidate was gunning for the generous reward for capturing w.a.n.g Zheng. Money? Martial Technique? Power? Status? They were all here.

The transmission array finally lit up and a spirited old man appeared.

“Old Merchant!” w.a.n.g Zheng beamed. It was such a happy affair to be able to see Old Merchant here. He thought that it was an illusion that Old Merchant had managed to connect with him, but there were some things that only the two of them would know.

“Lad, you’ve grown taller, not bad. However, this is no time to catch up. Is everyone here?” Old Merchant smiled. He had been in the Saint for this moment. It was time to leave.

“Yuan Jing’s team isn’t here yet.”

Old Merchant opened his Skylink. “They will arrive soon. I’ll cut off all communication with this place once they do.”

The Mars brothers and Jondi Lilick felt as though they were in a lucid dream. w.a.n.g Zheng… Was this really the person who could bring about a miracle? To be honest, most of them had accepted their fate being here. Their best ending would be to perish in a fierce battle. In the end… they were leaving.

“w.a.n.g Zheng, who is this gentleman?” Jondi Lilick asked curiously. Old Merchant? He had never heard of this name. He was obviously not a warrior, but he had a strong presence.

“This is my master. His other name is Alan Tucker,” w.a.n.g Zheng said.

Old Merchant was pretty satisfied that he still had such influence after disappearing for so long.

Yuan Jing appeared with Meng Tian on his back, followed by Kang Siqi and Huo Dong.

Mars and Olivios went up to them immediately, and Old Merchant activated the transmission array immediately. They were really going to leave the Oracle Star now.

Old Merchant didn’t have anything to miss from his time here. He had stopped his obsession with parallel s.p.a.ce at his age. All he hoped for now was to have w.a.n.g Zheng grow up quickly. It would be perfect if w.a.n.g Zheng could give him a baby — a grandchild— to cradle.
