If he was truly a professional, he would not care much about any other rules since killing his target would be his only task. As such, Yan Xiaosu really had to count his blessings after escaping from such a calamitous scenario.

After hearing Yan Xiaosu’s explanation, w.a.n.g Zheng smiled. He only roughly understood Yan Xiaosu’s business plans. “I don’t really know much about these things, so don’t count on me.”

Yan Xiaosu nonchalantly waved his hands, “Boss, all you need to do is show up and sit down. Leave everything else to me, and things will be settled.”

w.a.n.g Zheng nodded slightly. After such a huge battle, relaxing for abit would be great as well. At the same time he could host Lie Xin and Achilles as well. The two of them had been a great help to him. If not for them, there would have been more chaos at Mu Sen’s end.

“I’ll join in the fun as well!”

“Awesome, I’ll get someone to organize things. However, when I start to brag to others, you better not pull the rug out from under me!”

w.a.n.g Zheng could not help but be amused. “Little brat, as long as you don’t go too far I’ll leave you alone.”

“Roger that. Just wait for my news, Boss.” Yan Xiaosu turned away to go make arrangements.

If one wanted to host a party, hitting up Jasper was definitely a good thing to do. A direct Skylink call was all that was needed – that young brat was used to it.

Jasper’s nervous face greeted Yan Xiaosu as he picked up the Skylink call. “Brother Yan, what’s been happening these few days? How’s the situation? I couldn’t seem to get a hold of you.”

Jasper was genuinely worried. The people of t.i.ta had implemented a media blackout on the incident, so n.o.body really understood what was going on. The person that Jasper was most concerned about was Yan Xiaosu. If anything were to happen to him, the t.i.ta project would fall apart immediately.

“Look at how breathless you are. There’s nothing to be worried about. It was merely a single Earth Grade a.s.sa.s.sin, not like there were eight or ten of them. The matter has already been settled. I was nearly killed by that guy though, and it certainly wasn’t easy to get out. I’m thinking of holding a party so that I can celebrate for abit.”

Jasper was stunned. The matter was settled? From the way Yan Xiaosu put it, he seemed to be implying that he was personally involved?

He did in fact hear news about how Heaven was crippled as he retreated, but on the people of t.i.ta’s end there seemed be little to no damage… this was rather miraculous.

“That sc.u.m nearly killed me. He better not let me catch him next time. I’ll definitely squash him then!” Yan Xiaosu mumbled to himself.

Jasper’s face was flushed red, for he was stunned. He was fortunate enough to have met an Earth Grade expert personally some time ago, so he knew the level of battle strategy that an Earth Grade expert possessed. It was a level of battle strategy that allowed them to match up against an entire mecha squad. The matter was settled just like that? If he did not know that Yan Xiaosu had limits when it came to boasting, he would not have believed any of this.

“I’ll prepare a banquet immediately. How about a pool party?”

“Sounds great. This is great, go get more people to come, I want the party to be as lively as possible…” Yan Xiaosu let out a smile that all men knew all too well. The details were very important here.

The party was held at a villa with an enormous swimming pool. This was a tourist destination that had been built in the early days in order to attract the rich and powerful to visit t.i.ta t.i.tan Star. It was built in a style that blended mankind’s civilized nature with the uninhibited style of the people of t.i.ta. This place was now a monument of t.i.ta t.i.tan Star. Without the right connections, it would be impossible to book a stay here even if one was willing to pay.

By the time w.a.n.g Zheng and Yan Xiaosu had rushed over, the party was already very lively. Besides Jasper and his crew, there were other business people there as well. As the business expanded, new connections were naturally made. The number people who wished to join in only continued to grow over time. Moreover, Jasper understood Yan Xiaosu very well. If there were too little people, there was no way for Yan Xiaosu to flaunt his heroism.

At first glance he seemed rather ordinary, but after a second take, there seemed to be an aura around him that made it obvious that he was not just some normal person. Jasper was very confident in his ability to judge people at first sight. With a laugh, he asked: “Brother Yan, who is your friend here?”

“Heh, let me introduce him to you. This is w.a.n.g Zheng, my boss. You guys can just call him brother Zheng. Boss, these two are ones that I’ve mentioned to you about. They are Jasper and Gabre. They are brothers that I’ve been through some tough times with, so you can count on them.”

Brother Yan’s boss? Could this be… Jasper and Gabre’s eyes suddenly lit up. Both of them had their own network of informants, and they were no idiots either. Behind Yan Xiaosu’s back was a mysterious figure who never revealed his ident.i.ty, and the connections that Yan Xiaosu was able to make on t.i.ta Star were all maintained through this person.

“Oh, so you are brother Zheng!”

“We did not expect brother Zheng to come. We didn’t really prepare much, so hope that you’ll forgive us for that.”

w.a.n.g Zheng laughed as he gave a firm handshake to both Jasper and Gabre. “No need to take care of me, my main goal here is just to relax.”

Jasper and Gabre’s moods got better instantly. Their heart was finally at ease, for being able to meet this man personally meant that Yan Xiaosu now truly trusted them.

After entering the villa, the first thing that Yan Xiaosu did was to change into a pair of swimming trunks. He ran to the diving board beside the pool. His gaze wandered from the pretty girls in the pool to the pretty girls by the side before returning once again to the girls in the pool. Here I come!

Cras.h.!.+ A cannonball entered the water!

The crowd went wild. The live DJ sensed the mood and immediately turned up the volume of the music.

w.a.n.g Zheng got into the water as well. As he dived into the pool, the water washed away the fatigue of his body. The experience he gained from his battle with Heaven slowly crystalized in his mind. Relaxing allowed him to remember the details much better.

Jasper and Gabre did not enter the water, but simply sunbathed at the side instead.

After experiencing such an incident, later developments would go on without a hitch. Perhaps it was time for them to increase their investment.

“I intend to take a risk for this next round.” Jasper glanced at Gabre. They were in it together for so long, and while they got through the most daunting part of process without much a mishap, it could be said that the two of them had went through some tough times together. As such, they were comfortable with exchanging their honest opinions on the matter.

Gabre was stumped. In his previous discussions with Jasper, he felt that it was about time that he started to limit his investment in t.i.ta t.i.tan Star. He had no qualms about cooperating with Yan Xiaosu, but this was simply a way for him to manage such a risky investment. t.i.ta Star’s future was not that clear-cut after all.

However, it was obvious that Jasper wanted to go for an aggressive play this time. He was redoubling his efforts. The additional funds required for investment was not a huge problem here. The main issue was that he was putting his future in the company and his position within his family on the line. The results of his decision would greatly affect these two things. If he were to succeed, it would be a significant achievement and he would be able to rise up extremely quickly.

If he were to fail instead, then he would enter an abyss with no chance of redemption. He would lose the favor of his family, and it would also be extremely difficult for him to gain followers and re-establish himself later on.

Jasper smiled. “This is my decision, but you have to join in as well. Actually, it’s really risky.”
