Angela shook her head. It was funny how she had ended up taking sides with w.a.n.g Zheng instead.

Lin Huiyin pulled Aina as they talked. It had been a few days since they last met each other. If it was in the past, they would not feel anything, but perhaps both of them had grown up, and besides music, Aina was the only one she could communicate with.

Aina was getting prettier, and everyone acknowledged that it was because her Royal Highness had the demeanor of the Queen.

Huiyin was just like a small adult, imitating Kashawen’s troubled expression.

Aina took a deep breath, and returned to her smiling self once again. She was calm and composed, and even looked like she was going to oppose Kashawen.

Lin Huiyin blinked her big eyes. She took a glance at her mother through the screen, before looking at Aina who was full of momentum. At last, her gaze landed on the pile of résumés. Even she had felt that her mother had gone a little overboard.

Kashawen did not change, “Even the Queen needs a partner. These youngsters are the pillars of the nation. Regardless of family background, capabilities, they are all suitable for you. Of course, they are just candidates, and you are free to like anyone, as long as that person does not bring harm to the Aslan Empire.”

Freedom does not come without conditions.

Kashawen was left speechless in an instant. When their video call finally ended, Huiyin hugged Aina and gave her a kiss.

Huiyin had longed for the schooling life, being away from red tape, and endless responsibilities.

Luckily there was Aina to speak for her. Actually Huiyin wasn’t dumb, she knew clearly the reason why the royal family was so anxious.
