Ten mech warriors entered the arena amongst the cheers from the crowd. Well, as expected, Saruman Snake Battle Team stuck close to one another. The scout had suddenly moved forward, while the Icy Arrow used by Snow Li was at the back. The formation was tight, the distance between each mech was no more than twenty metres and they were advancing at high speeds. On the other hand, Eagle Battle Team was also advancing while staying in close proximity with one another. It looked like it would be a head-on confrontation.

But, they had used the original lineup, and this was a little too conservative.

On the previous round, Zhou Yu’s Golden Wheel Battle King was a stark contrast to that of Vincent’s. Although his teammates did not say much about it, deep inside Zhou Yu’s heart he took a deep breath. Both of them were using the same mech, but had totally different outcomes, how could he take this lying down? Compared to the match, this had made Zhou Yu feel even more depressed.

This round, he had wanted to have a one-on-one with Vincent once and for all. But little did he expect his opponent to be w.a.n.g Zheng instead, and he was using the Golden Wheel Battle King as well.

“Zhou Yu, maintain your formation, you’re leaning a little too forward!” Dendi said in a strict tone.

They were clear about their opponents’ motive. Once bitten twice shy, they would be really foolish if they had fell for it again.

For the previous battle, Saruman Snake Battle Team had used the Desolate Steel Beast and Heavenly Dragon Spear to defeat the entire team. And yet they’re intending to pull off the same trick this time round, they must be out of their minds.

But then again, this was a rather good tactic. It was difficult to defend against the intensive attacks of the Desolate Steel Beast, as well as Achilles’s skilled moves. Besides, they had great attackers and snipers, there was definitely the potential for them to form a team on their own.

“Looks like Saruman Snake Battle Team is trying to recreate one of the scenes from the qualifying match. But is Eagle Battle Team going to fall for it?”

It was a known strategy, and the other party was playing along with it. It just did not seem quite right that everything was going so smoothly. It felt like both teams were predators, but at the same time they were like preys waiting to be hunted down.

Although the motive was obvious, both teams had shown prudence in their formation and cautiousness during the advancement of the mecha. After all, no one had wished to fall into the hands of their opponent due to their negligence, resulting in a tactical failure.

Towards the half-way point of the match, the mech warriors from both teams had started flaring at each other. Eagle Battle Team had gathered together, while the Saruman Snake Battle Team’s Desolate Steel Beast and Heavenly Dragon Spear were looking on, awaiting the attacks. After a round of laser fire, the Desolate Steel Beast and Heavenly Dragon Spear had got into action, and w.a.n.g Zheng’s Golden Wheel Battle King was following right behind them.

It was the same tactic.

But Eagle Battle Team did not seem to believe it, and charged towards the both of them.

The Desolate Steel Beast activated its energy s.h.i.+eld and launched a deadly attack – bang!

Monster attack!

It directly exploded in the direction of Dendi’s Dragon G.o.d. It was quick yet ruthless, and Achilles’s Heavenly Dragon Spear was following right behind, observing the battle with his keen vision.

Thinking of avoiding or hiding away?

That would be underestimating their speed!

But right at this moment, the members of Eagle Battle Team showed a confident smile on their faces, buzz~~~~~~~

Dendi’s Dragon G.o.d fighter had created a hurricane, this was Dendi’s Ability X – Hurricane Force!

It was not meant for attacking, but for his teammates to increase their speed instantly. This was equivalent to equipping his other four teammates with the wind ability.

With the sudden acceleration, it was as though their mecha had lost their body ma.s.s. The members of Eagle Battle Team could easily swerve and avoid incoming attacks, and attack Tak.u.mi continuously.

Ca.s.sia, who was the sniper of the team, got into action right away. Using the heavy laser cannon, with a deadly glare effect, Ca.s.sia locked onto her target – Desolate Steel Beast.

Even if it was a tanky heavy mech, the energy s.h.i.+eld was already depleting and reaching its end. And at this point, it was impossible for Achilles to attack, but his gravitational abilities were on full force. The Desolate Steel Beast was pulled away by a few body lengths, and avoided the deadly blow. Tak.u.mi reacted quickly as well, as he flipped, bounced back, and hid behind a structure. Panting and taking in deep breaths while hiding in the corner, this was a run for his life!

It was a pity for the members of Eagle Battle Team, they were this close to winning the battle!

And suddenly an explosion was heard… Eagle Battle Team was stunned, Ca.s.sia’s mech had exploded.

This was not a conspiracy! It was an obvious strategy!

Just when everyone had their eyes on Achilles and Tak.u.mi, the scout had hid himself away. Well, his performance was usually bad, and he was the one who had always dragged the team down, who would care about him?

During the pre-battle a.n.a.lysis, Eagle Battle Team did not care much about Zhang Shan. Although his movements were great, but his close-range combat abilities were average, and he would be courting death even if he had come forth.

But just when Ca.s.sia was gloating over her one-kill attack, Zhang Shan had already closed in from the side, and just like the Saruman Snake’s attacks, it was extremely fast as though electricity was flowing through!

The Wind G.o.d was a suitable scout for battles. There were no blind spots within the range of the magnetic source, and coupled with his triple warp, it was enough to power Zhang Shan with the speed to take control of the battlefield. Of course, that was on the a.s.sumption that he did not make a mistake.

After his powerful blow, Zhang Shan immediately fled from the battlefield. The speed was extremely fast, and Dendi could not even react to it.

Snow Li’s attacks had hit the Dragon Scale fighter directly, and it was shrouded with frost. Roybad felt that his lower body was freezing so badly, and the Heavenly Dragon Spear was charging towards him, but he could not even move his fingers.

Right at this moment, a wind s.h.i.+eld was placed over the Dragon Scale. The mainstay, Dendi, had reached!

Eagle Battle Team’s scout was not idling around either, his target was w.a.n.g Zheng’s Golden Wheel Battle King!
