Tempest of the Stellar War Chapter 943 - Heaven’s Answer

Heaven was concentrating fully. He was very clear about the distance between them. Even at his peak, he was not Facaul’s match, and now the disparity between their mecha exacerbated that. What he needed to do now was create a window. That was his only chance at survival.

The Phantom King was a signature mech of Atlantis. Lan Ling and the rest had spent a huge sum of money to import it from Atlantis, expressly for Heaven to use. Against an Earth rank expert, if he did not have a super mech, then the Atlantis mech’s capabilities were at least a consolation. But this was against normal opponents, not the Fire Falcon facing him now.

The two mecha clashed hotly. In mid-air, they fought like wildfire. The mecha and giants thronging around were riveted. The Fire Falcon was fighting with pleasure, completely unbothered by the surrounding enemies. The Fire Falcon unhesitatingly repressed the Phantom King.

Facaul was very clear as to Heaven’s train of thought. But similarly, he was different from Blue Demon. Killing was just a means to earn money. Their mission was to conquer the t.i.ta people. Killing Heaven would completely undermine their confidence, and perhaps give Mu Sen a very good prod.

BOOM…

The Phantom King wanted to split, but before the splitting had completely taken effect, fire shot out, and the t.i.tanium blade cut down.

The Phantom King was sent flying, cras.h.i.+ng against a building, which suddenly collapsed. The Fire Falcon floated easily in mid-air, whirling the t.i.tanium blade in hand.

The Phantom King flew out, and it was clearly heavily weakened. The Fire Falcon laughed. “My abilities completely trump yours. Heaven, I will give you one last chance.”

His inferno ability could completely incinerate everything. A wood affinity ability would not only be ineffective against him, but instead amplify his strength. Including Heaven’s savage Wood Poison ability. It would be completely burned. This was an innate advantage.

At the Earth rank, affinity effectiveness was even more amplified. That was why Facaul had nurtured Heaven. No matter how strong this person got, he would not pose a threat. the Fire Falcon was coated in a layer of flames. It was not as glorious as Hocatolin’s, but the stench of death emanated from it. The more expert one was, the more one could use one’s Ability X appropriately.

Heaven’s Ability X emerged in full power. He had no ground to run in this battle. He could only fight to the death.

A surging hurricane enveloped the Phantom King, and Facaul smiled with a glimmer of disappointment. This sort of struggle was like a kindergarten child. Strength only grew from spilling blood.

The Phantom King, shrouded in the raging hurricane, rushed the Fire Falcon. Heaven had no expectation that the sniper would succeed, but the shot tried to create a chance.

The Fire Falcon mech suddenly disappeared, and the sniper shot flew wide. In that instant, he appeared behind the Phantom King. “You’re as naïve as ever!”

The t.i.tanium blade cleaved down. A direct hit.

But it felt… wrong. Heaven had intended for this!

The strong hurricane closed the Fire Falcon tightly, and the Phantom King locked on to the Fire Falcon.

The hurricane had trapped the super mech, but could not exact fatal damage.

Facaul’s flames were burning and permeating through. “Heaven, give it up. I will let you live, on account of our past friends.h.i.+p.”

If his words before had held a glimmer of truth, these were nothing but a lie. From the start, Heaven had known the game was up. He was only too clear of his opponent’s ability.

The only way was to die together. He had installed a little thing on the Phantom King. It could trigger the power source in the Phantom King’s nucleus.

“Lan Ling, I leave my wife and children in your hands.”

Heaven’s voice was serene. He need not leave any strength now. The hurricane lifted the two mecha high into the air.

Time seemed to stop. Heaven, who had never been afraid of death, felt a pang of longing. Take it as his atonement for his past sins. In that instant, Heaven smiled beatifically.

“You sc.u.m!” Facaul was really angry now. To think an a.s.sa.s.sin would actually sacrifice himself for someone else. This was something he would never have dreamed off. This was madness. His flames burst forth, but it was too late.

BOOM! RUMBLE…
