Chapter 22: Finding His Son

The director carefully a.n.a.lyzed Xing Liehan’s face, then she recalled Tang Xiaoxi’s cute face . If these two weren’t father and son, then who was? Xing Liehan’s offer was way too tempting . However, the director did not want the ten million, yet she didn’t want to offend him either . After all, the man held enough power to control everything under the sky .

So she carefully said, “Thank you for your offer, Mr . Xing . However, our school doesn’t need it . Please do come in, though . ”

At that moment, Tang Xiaoxi was playing the piano . The teacher was teaching a choir, so she a.s.signed him to accompany them with the piano . Just as the piece ended, the director herself entered the cla.s.s and called Tang Xiaoxi out, “Tang Xiaoxi, there’s someone who wants to meet you!”

“Who? Is it my mother?” Tang Xiaoxi was extremely curious . Could it be that his G.o.dmother came to pick him up?

“You’ll know them when you meet them . Come on now, follow me!” As the director held onto Xiaoxi’s small chubby hands, she thought to herself as to how fortunate Tang Siyu was to give birth to Xing Liehan’s child, who could even become the heir to Xing Clan’s fortune .

Xiaoxi immediately let out a large, dazzling smile and asked, “You’re really my father?”

Xing Liehan pulled Xiaoxi in his embrace, as the father and son examined each other’s faces . Liehan’s lips turned up into a small, satisfied smile as he said, “Mhm, I’m your biological father and you are my son . ”

Although the statement was pretty simple, it held a deep meaning for him .

“Papa…You finally came! I’m so happy! I thought you didn’t like me, so you didn’t want me . ” In the simple heart of a four-year-old child, that was the most obvious conclusion .

Xing Liehan’s eyes narrowed as he asked, “Why would I not want you?” It’s just that he did not know he had a son in the first place!

“That’s good! Papa, are you married? Do you have any more children?” Xiaoxi was extremely worried, because if it was true, then his mother would be saddened .

“No, Papa doesn’t have a wife, nor any other children . ”

“Then… . What about a girlfriend?”

Xiaoxi asked out of curiosity, “Papa, where are we going?”

“Do you want to visit Papa’s company?”

“Yes!” The little boy cheered loudly . He was on the ninth cloud when his father picked him up in his arms, as he hugged his neck tightly . It was a pleasant feeling that he had never experienced before .
