Chapter 23: Looking For Her Son

Even though he’d spent a short time in the kindergarten, he loved to spend time there . So when his Mommy would come to pick him up and the others would proudly introduce him to their fathers and asked him when his father would pick him up, it wounded his fragile heart .

Thus, his desire for having a father was stronger than ever . So how could he not jump in joy when Xing Liehan showed up? He finally had a father and now show him off to the other students . So just like that, Tang Xiaoxi was taken away by Xing Liehan!

The back sedan turned onto the main road and headed for the center of the city, the most prestigious part of the whole area .

The new place was only a ten-minute walk away from kindergarten . So Tang Siyu stayed behind until she prepared to head to the school at 4:10 PM . She was extremely excited to tell her son about the new apartment, imagining his joy when he would get to know about the piano his grandfather bought for him .

When Tang Siyu reached the school, the witnessed many parents were already there to pick up their children . It was easy to see the love of a parent here, after all, even the most wealthy person loved their child unconditionally . Tang Siyu swiped her card at the detector and scanned her fingerprint at the biometric system and entered the school . However, as she walked towards the direction of her son’s cla.s.s, someone called her from behind .

“Miss Tang, please wait for a second!”

Tang Siyu turned around saw it was the director and was immensely surprised . She walked towards her and politely asked, “Director, did Little Xi cause trouble at school today?”

The director slowly shook her head, “He didn’t cause any trouble . I just have something important to tell you . At three o’clock today, Tang Xiaoxi’s biological father picked him up . ”

Tang Siyu was rendered speechless, as her mind almost exploded with shock . “What biological father!? I’m my son’s only parent, there’s no father!”

 

Now, even the director was astonished . “What? Miss Tang, your son’s father is Mr . Xing Liehan, don’t you know that?”

Tang Siyu was furious at the school’s careless actions, however, she was confused as to who this Xing Liehan was . She asked in a hurry, “Do you know where they took Xiaoxi to?”

The director took out the name card that Xing Liehan had handed to her and said, “Mr . Xing asked me to tell you to go to this place . I’m really sorry for this mess, ma’am . I a.s.sumed you already knew the child’s father . ”

Tang Siyu’s only priority was her son so she was in a hurry and didn’t have the time to scold the school department . She took the name card in a hurry and questioned, “Are you sure this is where he was taken?”

“Yes, Mr . Xing specifically told you to go there and find him . ” This time the director didn’t dare be careless .

Tang Siyu’s heart was beating really fast, each moment spent worrying about her son’s safety . The driver pointed to a building in the distance . “That’s the building you’re going to, right?”

Tang Siyu raised her eyes and looked outside the window . In the midst of a row of skysc.r.a.pers, a particular one stood out because of its awe-inspiring height, it was as if that building connected the heavens and earth themselves . She looked at the name card and confirmed the name again . She nodded vigorously and said, “Yes, that’s the one!”
