Book 6 Chapter The Three Foreign Dignitaries 

G.o.d of Heaven’s gentle voice resonated in the great hall. However, the eight G.o.dly General all stared at the G.o.d of Heaven in shock. They couldn't believe that the G.o.d of Heaven would actually say something like this. 

“The Ninth G.o.dly General?” 

Teng Qingshan was also surprised as he looked at the G.o.d of Heaven. The G.o.d of Heaven's small eyes seemed like a black crystal jade, so dark that no one could guess what he was thinking. When the G.o.d of Heaven saw Teng Qingshan hesitating, he continued saying, “Huhe, you belong to no sect, so joining the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain only brings you benefits!” 

At this moment, Li Jun, who was at the side, also smiled.

She was the G.o.ddess of the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain and also hoped that Teng Qingshan could be of the same sect as her. Li Jun then stared at Teng Qingshan, who was beside her.

“G.o.d of Heaven!” Teng Qingshan said respectfully, “Although I belong to no sect, I have a teacher!”

In the bottom of his heart, Teng Qingshan didn’t want to join the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain. Although he had left the Gui Yuan Sect, it was impossible for him to forget his teacher Zhuge Yuanhong, Zhuge Yun, Teng Qinghu, and the others. He had already marked himself with the symbol of the Gui Yuan Sect!

“Teacher?” The G.o.d of Heaven was not surprised at all. He still spoke with a smile, “As you attained such achievement, it would be weird if you didn’t have a teacher! Don’t worry. I didn’t ask you to recognize someone as your teacher, I only asked you to join the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain! Now, although the Eight G.o.dly Generals of the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain are all my disciples, I won’t force you to be my disciple if you joined! I cultivate Tantra, while it is obvious that your method of cultivation is different. Plus, you have reached the Golden Dan of the Innate Realm&h.e.l.lip;...Since you have cultivated to this stage, It is impossible to change. It would be impossible for me to ask you to change your cultivation method to Tantra!”

The G.o.d of Heaven cast a meaningful glance at the First G.o.dly General Borileimu. 

Borileimu has been with the G.o.d of Heaven the longest, so he immediately understood what the G.o.d of Heaven meant. He looked at Teng Qingshan and said with a laugh, “Brother Huhe, Teacher is not asking you to be his disciple. Instead, he is only asking you to take the position of G.o.dly General! If you were the G.o.dly General, it would give you lots of advantages when you travel the world! Also, you and I will be able to compete more often in the future!”

“Haha, the Ninth G.o.dly General.” The Fifth G.o.dly General Eriqier smiled and said, “Brother Huhe, if you really became the Ninth G.o.dly General, then the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain will have nine G.o.dly Generals. And you will be the strongest G.o.dly Generals!

When Borileimu heard, he intentionally smiled bitterly and said, “Junior Martial Brother, you are right. If Brother Huhe became the Ninth G.o.dly General, the most powerful G.o.dly General would be him!”

The t.i.tles of the G.o.dly Generals  were decided based on the time they joined, which had nothing to do with their strength.

“Huhe!” The G.o.d of Heaven stared at Teng Qingshan.

The entire great hall became quiet. Whether it was the Eighth G.o.dly General, the G.o.d of heaven, or Li Jun, they all looked at Teng Qingshan. Everyone was hoping that he would join the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain!

“I am afraid I have failed to meet the G.o.d of Heaven and the seniors’ expectation!”

“If you became the G.o.dly General, no one will stop you from sailing the seas!” The G.o.d of Heaven smiled.

Teng Qingshan shook his head as he explained with respectful eyes, “Sailing the seas and cultivating is just a process of my tough training. My whole life, I desired to enter the Emptiness Realm. When I reach the Emptiness Realm, I will establish my own sect and teach the disciples what I had experienced and comprehended! This is my dream! Therefore, it is impossible for me to join other sects!”

“Establish a sect?”

The eight G.o.dly Generals were shocked. They then looked towards the G.o.d of Heaven!

What kind of status did the G.o.d of Heaven possessed?

He was an Emptiness Realm Expert! The peerless existence in this Great Prairie! Today, the G.o.d of Heaven repeatedly invited Teng Qingshan with a smile on his face, but Teng Qingshan rejected again and again! They were worried that&h.e.l.lip;.their teacher, the G.o.d of Heaven, would feel anger due to the embarra.s.sment.

“If you can’t be on my side, then you shall be my enemy!” There were many people with such thoughts.

“Big Brother Huhe!” Li Jun hastily prompted in a soft voice.

Teng Qingshan looked up at the G.o.d of Heaven.

The smile on the G.o.d of Heaven’s face seemed to have frozen. The pair of small eyes that was staring at Teng Qingshan seemed very calm. 

“Huhe!” The G.o.d of Heaven’s voice suddenly became very deep as it resonated in the great hall.

“G.o.d of Heaven.” Teng Qingshan spoke with a very humble att.i.tude.

The G.o.d of Heaven opened his mouth slowly and said, “Reach the Emptiness Realm? With your apt.i.tude and talent, as long as you are diligent, I believe that you will reach the Emptiness Realm! Since you wanted to establish a sect&h.e.l.lip;..I, as the G.o.d of Heaven, will give you a hand! Through your relations.h.i.+p with Lady Li Jun, you should know about the forces behind the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain!”

Teng Qingshan froze.

Although Li Jun never explained the details, Teng Qingshan knew&h.e.l.lip;.that the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain was just a branch of a powerful and terrifying dark force.

“These disciples of mine and Lady Li Jun all know.” The G.o.d of Heaven said slowly, “In the land of the Nine Prefectures, there is a celestial palace called the Heavenly G.o.d Palace! Besides the Empress, the G.o.ds of Heaven possess the highest status in this Heavenly G.o.d Palace! And I am one of the G.o.ds of Heaven!” 

When Teng Qingshan heard, he felt his heart quiver in shock!

G.o.ds of Heaven? Emptiness Realm Expert? One of them? 

“No wonder Little Jun told me that the force of the sect she was in could be compared with Mani Temple!” Teng Qingshan immediately understood that this powerful force had not just one Emptiness Realm Expert!

“Besides the G.o.ds of Heaven in the Heavenly G.o.d Palace, there are also Foreign Dignitaries!” 

The G.o.d of Heaven stared at Teng Qingshan and said, “The Foreign Dignitaries of the Heavenly G.o.d Palace are second to the G.o.ds of Heaven. However, the Foreign Dignitaries and the Heavenly G.o.d Palace only help each other. The Foreign Dignitaries are not completely under the control of the Heavenly G.o.d Palace! The Foreign Dignitaries could be sovereigns of their own sects. Since the Foreign Dignitaries are people who can receive help from the Heavenly G.o.d Palace while also remaining independent of the Heavenly G.o.d Palace&h.e.l.lip;.it is very rare and difficult to become a Foreign Dignitaries!”

“Now, the Heavenly G.o.d Palace has a total of two Foreign Dignitaries!”

The G.o.d of Heaven’s words shocked Teng Qingshan.   

Actually, Teng Qingshan understood&h.e.l.lip;.that if a world had light, it would have darkness. Since there were the Eight Supreme Sects in the light, it wasn’t impossible for a powerful force to hide within the darkness! It was just that the greatness of this force had astonished Teng Qingshan!

“Regarding these two Foreign Dignitaries, one is an Emptiness Realm Martial Ancestor from the East Sea! As for the other Foreign Dignitary, he is the number one expert from the many western kingdoms and is secretly in control of a few great kingdoms. One of the two Foreign Dignitaries was an Emptiness Realm Expert from the East Sea, while the other was the number one expert of the Western Regions. As both of them were not in the Nine Prefectures, their names were naturally not listed in the 《Heavenly Ranking》.

“The Foreign Dignitaries and the Heavenly G.o.d Palace are connected by a series of alliances that entails mutual support It is not a relations.h.i.+p where one is superior or subordinate!”

“As a G.o.d of Heaven, I have only one chance to choose a Foreign Dignitary!” The G.o.d of Heaven stared at Teng Qingshan as he said, “Huhe, will you be the Foreign Dignitary of the Heavenly G.o.d Palace!” 

Teng Qingshan held his breath when he heard this.

The G.o.d of Heaven valued him greatly! The Heavenly G.o.d Palace only had a total of two Official Dignitaries, and each Official Dignitary was definitely an ambitious and ruthless figure! The Ancestor of the East Sea, the King of the Western Regions!  As for the third? Would it be him, Teng Qingshan?

“Big Brother Huhe.” Li Jun immediately whispered, “A Foreign Dignitary’s authority is second only to the G.o.d of Heaven with a status even higher than the Core Disciples and even the G.o.dly Generals! You can agree to this.” The Eight G.o.dly Generals at the side all looked at Teng Qingshan with envious eyes.

However, they were not jealous!

Teng Qingshan had convinced them with his powerful strength! Plus, it was obvious that Teng Qingshan wasn’t old! Although many innate experts did not look old, one could determine their age through the hair on their temples and through their aura. Although Zhao Danchen and Borileimu did not look old, Zhao Danchen’s hair was silvery white, while Borileimu had white temple hairs.

Those who were about to reach the end of their lifespan would all be enveloped by a faint death aura! The complete opposite of the aura of vigor that young men possessed. It might sound unreal, but this death aura could be detected by innate experts. 

“Thank the G.o.d of Heaven for having such high regard for me.” Teng Qingshan bowed and said, “As for the position of the Foreign Dignitary.. If I ever establish a sect or join any other sect, the Heavenly G.o.d Palace won’t stop me, right?”

“No!”

The G.o.d of Heaven nodded with a smile, “An Official Dignitary is like a guest!”

Teng Qingshan knew clearly of how terrifying it was for such a powerful force to be hidden in the land of the Nine Prefectures and kept a secret from the world. If he became friend with a shadow force like this, it would only bring benefits to him in the future!

“I am really very grateful for receiving such high regards. I accept the position of Foreign Dignitary.” Teng Qingshan nodded in response.

The smile on the G.o.d of Heaven’s face became even brighter.

The G.o.d of Heaven was an old fellow who had lived for over four hundred years! He established the G.o.d of Heaven Mountain by himself, thus, how excellent would his judgement be? He had already determined the young man’s potential&h.e.l.lip;.This young man would definitely be an Emptiness Realm Expert in the future! To the Heavenly G.o.d Palace, having another Emptiness Realm Expert as a Foreign Dignitary, an ally and a friend, would only bring benefits.    &h.e.l.lip;&h.e.l.lip;

Laughter resounded in the great hall of the G.o.d of Heaven Tower as everyone congratulated Teng Qingshan!

Honored as the Foreign Dignitary!

Through this, one could see how the G.o.d of Heaven valued Teng Qingshan since the G.o.d of Heaven himself had only one chance to choose a Foreign Dignitary.

“Huhe!” The G.o.d of Heaven took out a green token. 

“This is a Foreign Dignitary’s token!” The G.o.d of Heaven threw the token towards Teng Qingshan as he spoke. An invisible hand lifted the token, which then floated towards Teng Qingshan and stopped in front of him. 

Teng Qingshan then stretched out his hand and grabbed the token.

He scrutinized the Foreign Dignitary Token and saw that it was completely green and seemed to be made of jade. As Teng Qingshan held the token in his hand, he could feel warmth transmitting into his body, giving him a refres.h.i.+ng sensation.

“On an island on the East Sea lies Jade Mountain. There, a Heart of Jade nurtured within a vein of chalcedony was extracted, and a sliver of it was carved into this Foreign Dignitary Token! If one wears it for a long time, it would open up the meridians and nurture the Spirit!” The G.o.d of Heaven smiled and continued saying, “Even if an ordinary individual wore it, it wouldn’t be hard for him to open up all his meridians!”  

Teng Qingshan stared at the token in his hand, shocked by what he had heard.

Jade Mountain? Heart of Jade nurtured by the chalcedony?

“If one drinks a sip of Millennium Chalcedony, it would open up the meridians of the entire body! This Heart of Jade that was nurtured by chalcedony would probably have an even more shocking effect. The Heavenly G.o.d Palace is indeed wealthy!” Teng Qingshan was really astonished. Compared to the Heavenly G.o.d Palace, the Gui Yuan Sect that he had joined was a hundred times more inferior!

At the side, Li Jun also winked towards Teng Qingshan.

Teng Qingshan smiled.

If he became the Foreign Dignitary of the Heavenly G.o.d Palace, when he returned from the Northern Sea Continent to the land of the Nine Prefectures, the aid  of the shadow forces of the Heavenly G.o.d Palace would be very beneficial when he helped the Gui Yuan Sect!
