Book 1 Chapter 18: Lone Wolf

Amongst the three giants of the ‘G.o.d Kingdom’ organization, Brahma and s.h.i.+va were especially warlike. However, their Elder brother, ‘Vishnu’, was quite mysterious. Although Vishnu originally hadn’t shown any signs of opposing Teng Qingshan, he had never imagined that things would turn out this way.

One of the three giants, s.h.i.+va, was actually killed in the battle!

“I will definitely kill you,” The man in white clothes, Vishnu, said in a gloomy voice.

Teng Qingshan only smiled in response.

“Swish, swish.” Vishnu moved swiftly and nimbly, turning into a white blur. In the blink of an eye, he appeared before Teng Qingshan.

Teng Qingshan swung his arm while taking a step back, his fist shooting forward towards Vishnu.

The strange thing was that Vishnu didn’t even try to block his attack, and just slightly tilted his body, letting Teng Qingshan’s fist fall onto his arm.

“Something’s wrong,” thought Teng Qingshan. As his fist came into contact with the other party, he felt that there seemed to be some sort of writhing python within those billowing white robes, and his fist unexpectedly slid off its destination. Vishnu didn’t sustain any injuries, and instead seized the opportunity, falling to the ground as both of his legs, slithering like a viper’s tongue, gripped Teng Qingshan’s right leg.

Afterwards, he exerted strength in both of his legs.

As a result, Teng Qingshan’s whole body immediately dropped to the ground; if he didn’t do so, his right leg would have been pinched off. “Buzz” Teng Qingshan’s right leg’s muscles fiercely vibrated, like a vibrating bowstring right after shooting an arrow, as his peculiar inner strength also rapidly moved towards both legs of the other person.

However, the legs of Vishnu  abruptly moved away from Teng Qingshan’s upper body, and all at once wrapped round Teng Qingshan’s entire body like two big snakes.

At this moment, Teng Qingshan thought of the scene of a boa strangling a person inside some primordial forest. He instantaneously felt the terrible power of this move, which made it hard for him to breath.

Eventually Vishnu managed to grab Teng Qingshan’s left leg’s ankle with his right arm.

Teng Qingshan fiercely stomped his feet left and right, forcing the opponent to let go of him. However, he still felt pain in his right leg.

“Not good, my joint of the bone has been dislocated.” Teng Qingshan’s left leg was dangling in a strange way.

Teng Qingshan propped himself up on the ground with both his hands, his body again leaping up into the air.

Soon after that, both his hands directly grabbed Teng Qingshan’s right forearm. With the strength of his ten powerful fingers, he immediately left behind several b.l.o.o.d.y holes in Teng Qingshan’s right arm. Teng Qingshan was actually unable to free himself from his opponent’s grasp. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, he immediately lowered his body, supporting it with his left hand, and shoved his whole body towards his opponent.

At this time, Vishnu bellowed, and ferociously pulled Teng Qingshan’s arm.

Teng Qingshan’s right arm was forcefully pulled down, and fresh blood spurted out of it.

His right arm was broken!

Teng Qingshan’s face revealed a ferocious color as he shoved his body towards Vishnu. Vishnu’s entire leg was broken off.

Teng Qingshan and Vishnu were completely wrapped around each other.

“Ah!!!” The frenzied Vishnu let out a howl in pain. His left leg, which was still in good condition, fiercely pounded down, carrying infinite power, directly on Teng Qingshan’s back. The sound of bones cracking rang out. Teng Qingshan spit out a mouthful of fresh blood – it even included the fragments of his internal organs.

“BANG.”

Teng Qingshan let out a howl, both of his legs fiercely stomped backwards, straight towards Vishnu’s crotch. Fortunately Vishnu instantly withdrew his genitals inside his belly. He can’t even stand up no matter how hard he tries. This is a good opportunity for us. We should set about at once, and seize them in one go! It would be a great meritorious service to be able to seize two SS-rank hitmen in one fell swoop.”

The eyes of the team members immediately started to s.h.i.+ne.

As Wolf could battle with the two giants, he was certainly a SS-rank expert.

With your current condition, if they fired at you, you’d be done for.” Teng Qingshan smiled as he ridiculed Vishnu. Then immediately after, his gaze s.h.i.+fted to a place that wasn’t far from them. Three people were quietly approaching them, and the tallest of them was his younger brother ‘Qing He’.

But at this time.

“Hmm?” Teng Qingshan suddenly turned his head and saw a group of people almost forty meters away from him.

“Shen Yangming!” With Teng Qingshan’s eyesight he instantly saw the appearances of those people.

At this time, Shen Yangming pulled out his gun and shot towards Qin Hong’s head.

“Wolf, you, why did you save me?” Qin Hong looked at Teng Qingshan as he stood before him.

Teng Qingshan was currently feeling severe pains in his chest. While speaking, Teng Qingshan felt something surge up his throat. “Puff.” He spouted a mouthful of fresh blood, which included fragments of his internal organs.

“You, you, why?” Qin Hong didn’t understand it well, but it distressed him to see Teng Qingshan in such a condition.

Teng Qingshan watched his younger brother as he took a proper look at him.

In the past twenty two years, he had never gotten the chance to look at his younger brother so carefully.

He felt that the heavens treated him well enough to be able to take a proper look at his younger brother before his death.

Teng Qingshan felt his consciousness getting fuzzy, and his head was overcome with dizziness.

Teng Qingshan felt as if a cold wind was blowing past him and his body felt cold. However, there was a faint smile on his face.

Teng Qingshan’s corpse turned ice-cold and his chest was dyed red with blood. The ‘small cauldron’ which was also dyed red with blood, disappeared the moment Teng Qingshan died. But as the small cauldron was inside his clothes, no one noticed this phenomena.

Qin Hong quietly kneeled before Teng Qingshan’s corpse.

“He’s dead.” Yang Yun said as he stood at Qin Hong’s side.

“He.. Why did he save me?” Qin Hong said while staring blankly at Teng Qingshan’s corpse.

“No idea. Perhaps no one knows besides him.” Yang Yun shook his head as he sighed.

“Chief Yang.” Other team members immediately ran over to him, “Vishnu’s dead. He committed suicide. He chose to rather die than get captured by us.”

Yang Yun shook his head as he sighed and said: “Vishnu had sustained serious injuries, and he no longer had the same strength as before. I guess he didn’t want to live a pitiful life.”

“Teng Qingshan! Teng Qingshan!” At this time, a voice rang out. It was Lin Qing who came running from a distant place. She had looked around everywhere and was completely stunned when she found Teng Qingshan’s corpse lying beside Qin Hong.

She dashed over to the corpse and kneeled down before it.

Qin Hong’s whole body trembled. He suddenly turned his head towards Lin Qing and stared at her. The Special Operations Organization hadn’t know Wolf’s real name until now. In fact, his name ‘Teng Qingshan’ was made up by him. He picked ‘Teng’ from the surname of master ‘Teng Bolei’ and ‘Qingshan Shan’ was his name when he lived in the orphanage.

“Teng Qingshan, what happened to you? How could you have died? How can you die?!” Lin Qing cried. Her tears were constantly flowing out of her eyes.

“Qingshan, Qingshan&h.e.l.lip;”

“No!” Qin Hong’s eyes opened wide in alarm, and he fiercely tore open the cloth around Teng Qingshan’s waist. There was actually a purple-colored birthmark at his waist.

Qin Hong’s complexion tuned ghastly pale in an instant, without an trace of redness.

“The one who killed that hitman as well as Li Mingshan was you&h.e.l.lip;” Qin Hong s.h.i.+vered.

“What?” Lin Qing, who was present by his side, trembled when she heard Qin Hong’s words. She looked towards Qin Hong who was at her side, “Did you say it was Teng Qingshan who killed Li Mingshan?” In her heart, Lin Qing perhaps felt most grateful to the benefactor that killed Li Mingshan and released her from the immense suffering. However, she never found out the name of the person who killed Li Mingshan.

Qin Hong didn’t respond to her, and his gaze was completely fixed on Teng Qingshan.

Qin Hong’s whole body shuddered, and his voice had already become hoa.r.s.e.

“Why, why didn’t you tell me? Why didn’t you let me know of your ident.i.ty&h.e.l.lip;?” Qin Hong bitterly cried, as he he felt his heart ripped apart from the sorrow. As a member of the Special Operations Organization, he knew very well that the Lone Wolf of the Flying Knives and the organization had some hatred established between them. The moment he thought of this, he completely understood the painful reason behind Teng Qingshan not telling him anything.

“For my safety?”

Qin Hong felt distressed and grieved at the bottom of his heart. He could not make his true relation with Teng Qingshan – that Teng Qingshan was his Elder Brother – public. For the sake of his wife and child, he was unable to do such a thing.

If he did that, his wife, and soon to be born child, would be in a dangerous situation.

If he did that, the pains his Elder Brother went through to keep his ident.i.ty hidden from Qin Hong until his death would be all for naught.

His Elder Brother was right before him, and yet he still wouldn’t dare to call out to him.

“AH” Qin Hong raised his head in agony and let out a hoa.r.s.e howl. It was only at the bottom of his heart where he could shout out the word he wanted to call out the most at this time: “BROTHER!!!”
