Chapter 8: Medical Cla.s.sic Book

 

Murong Qingyan walked more inside the small hut and found a small room. She couldn’t help but wonder when she saw that on the outside the small room looks ordinary, but on the inside, it has an amazing looking cave.

With just one step, her nose smells the fragrance of the medicines. Murong Qingyan got even more surprised when she found out that this small room have a lot of different medicinal herbs and even some of them are herbs that she hasn’t seen.

Inside the room, the furniture is very simple. On the side of the room, there was only a wooden table and few chairs. On the other side, it has a lot of shelves. Each shelf is stocked with different kind of dried medicinal herbs.

On the other side of the shelf, it was stocked with many small porcelain bottles. But, she doesn’t know what was inside of them.

Murong Qingyan came forward a few steps and took the small porcelain bottle. A strong fragrance of medicine came in her nose. Her eyebrows frown and her eyes flashed in surprise: “This is… …”

“Master, this is an elixir.” The small white ball quickly explained, ” The Previous Master personally refine all these elixirs, which he can make easily!”

“Previous Master?” Murong Qingyan turned her head and look to the small white ball with a little-surprised expression: “Did you say that this s.p.a.ce has a Previous Master?”

“Uh huh!” The small white ball nodded and continued to speak, “Previous Master is a pharmacist, so refining this elixir is very easy for him.”

“Where is he now?” Murong Qingyan’s eyes flashed a trace of doubts, “And what kind of person is he?”

After hearing Murong Qingyan’s questions, the small white ball immediately tried to recall his previous master. But, no matter how hard he thinks, he can’t remember him.

“What’s the matter?” Murong Qingyan felt that there is something wrong when she looks at the small white ball.

“I don’t know.” The small white ball got confused, “I can clearly remember that Previous Master is a pharmacist, but I can’t remember his appearance and the other things about him.”

“If you can’t remember then stop thinking.” Although Murong Qingyan really wanted to know what really happened, but she didn’t force him to remember.

“Master, you’re too nice to me ah!”

The small white ball said and suddenly threw himself to Murong Qingyan’s arm. Unfortunately, Murong Qingyan’s eyes flash and the small white ball directly fell to the ground.

Faced with such treatment, the small white ball turned his head and look at Murong Qingyan with his eyes that full of complaints.

Murong Qingyan didn’t notice the small white ball’s reaction because this time she got attracted to the thing that was not much far away from her. Inadvertently, she found a wooden table that has an impressive looking book on top of it. The cover of the book has two written characters: “Medical Cla.s.sic”.

“This is… …” Murong Qingyan picks up the book and her eyes were full of shock.

She didn’t expect that she will actually see this book in this place. Murong Qingyan has heard that this ‘Medical Cla.s.sic Book’ is an inherited treasure of Rong Family for generations, but she had never seen this. And also she was killed by her family because of this book.  

The ‘Medical Cla.s.sic Book’ does really exist and it was really an inherited treasure of Rong Family. But, it was not hidden in their ancestral house. It was hidden inside the s.p.a.ce of Qian Kun (universe) bracelet.

“Master, this is the Medical Cla.s.sic Book.” The small white ball jumped to Murong Qingyan’s shoulders and explain: “There are different kinds of disease and cases in this world. So, the most important thing is to know how to refine a lot of different kinds of elixir. Master, you are a doctor so this book will make you even stronger, however, it’s a pity…”
