Pet King Chapter 1290 - One Disaster After Another

A group of random animals accompanied the car’s escape to the west. Zhang Zian sneaked a glance at his rearview mirror. Although the dust storm covered the entire sky behind them, he knew that these ferocious storms could not last forever and would gradually calm down.

“You don’t find out what’s happening behind us, don’t come back!” He tried to close the window.

Richard was helpless. As a parrot, he was not good at flying. A few flaps and he was out of strength to continue. Nevertheless, he knew he needed to get back in. He would temporarily endure this.

He looked back and got scared. He let out a scream, wanting to fly away from what he saw!

The sand waves did not calm down—at least, they did not calm down by themselves. Instead, they were caught up in the speed of the sand waves behind them. The expanding abyss swallowed the sand waves.

The location of the Golden Pyramid, the center of the Devil’s Sea, has become a huge funnel for sand. It greedily swallowing hundreds of millions of tons of sand. Even the pyramid had not been spared. What was left aboveground was the tip. It would soon be completely buried.

There was little sand left near the pyramid, so the sand had to have come from other areas. It was like a hollow spot in the ocean where the surrounding sea water had gotten sucked in.

Richard hurriedly flew back into the car and told everyone what he’d seen.

“Black storm? Are you sure?” Zhang Zian asked without hesitation. He looked at the sky. It was still sunny, and it didn’t look like a storm.

Fina was angered. “Are you questioning me?”

“No! I wouldn’t dare… It’s just that…” Zhang Zian hadn’t finished talking, but now he could hear an abnormal sound.

It was a whistling sound, sharp and stinging, like countless monsters and ghosts coming out of the depths of the Devil’s Sea. It came from behind him.

Richard squinted. His night blindness was returning. “Is my eyesight failing me? What happened? Is it going to rain?”

The sun disappeared, and the sky turned yellow. With his naked eyes, he could see the sky rapidly dimming to blackness.
