Lu Li believed that it was only a matter of time before he ascended to the Divinity, which meant that sooner or later, he would become Emperor of Heaven Reverse's protégé.

G.o.d of Sorcerer said nothing afterwards. After the time for a dozen breaths, he sighed. "Fine, I will not relieve you of this Relic. But… I require the survival of the Voodoo Race. Their population is large. I need the energy of faith."

Even though G.o.d of Sorcerer wanted to sell them out from the very beginning, he was the G.o.d of the Voodoo Race wors.h.i.+ped, nonetheless. How could they defy the order of an immortal?

G.o.d of Sorcerer said, "From today on, you will answer to Lu Li's orders and you will work for him in helping him govern the Voodoo Land of the South."

Qi the Voodoo felt awkward. G.o.d of Sorcerer turned his back on them before and now, he required them to surrender to Lu Li? Was it any different from selling them out? If they could not be protected by the G.o.d of Sorcerer, then what was the point of wors.h.i.+ping him?

"What?" G.o.d of Sorcerer was becoming unhappy. "You want to disobey me?"

"No, no!" Qi of Voodoo lowered his body and said, "Qi of Voodoo will follow your instructions, G.o.d of Sorcerer."

These were the words he said but the glow in his eyes indicated that he was thinking otherwise. The other warriors were all on their knees. However, their expressions changed as a cloud hung over their face.

The shadow of G.o.d of Sorcerer threw a glance to Qi of Voodoo and the others. All of a sudden, G.o.d of Sorcerer generated a hand and slapped down.

"Bang!"

A slap of anger from the G.o.d of Sorcerer could have hurt the Dragon Demon. How could Master of Voodoo Race and the other warriors stand it? Even Qi of Voodoo, who was the strongest in the group, was merely at the peak of the Earth Immortal Realm. This slap killed them all.

What G.o.d of Sorcerer proposed was a nice suggestion. Lu Li controlling the Voodoo Land of the South was not mutually exclusive to the Voodoo Race wors.h.i.+ping the G.o.d of Sorcerer. G.o.d of Sorcerer was stunned at first. Then, the shadow showed anger. "Lu Li, enough is enough. If you push me too hard, I will burn the bridges. Who the h.e.l.l do you think you are?" He bellowed.

"Ha, ha, ha!"

Lu Li laughed a laugh of contempt. Burning bridges? If G.o.d of Sorcerer was capable of such things, why would he want to talk to Lu Li?

As an immortal, talking to a mortal guy was in itself shameful. If G.o.d of Sorcerer could kill Lu Li, he would have ripped the latter apart already.

Therefore, Lu Li aggressively continued, "G.o.d of Sorcerer, if you want to fight, then let's begin. I will be burning the bridges with you. Believe me or not, I will order the Dragon Demon to slaughter every one of the Voodoo Race."
