The Shennong Race rarely had capable fighters. Their main skill was centered in healing. Even though not equipped with an amazing Bloodline such as that of the Die Family, the Shennong Race was as good.

Lu Ling trusted none of the healers of the Great Land. She had been waiting for the Clan Chief of the Shennong Race to arrive. Hence, she did not care at all of what this group of healers had to say.

When this group of people was sent out, Lu Ling had the patriarchs to stay on guard outside. Ding Gui started treating Lu Li.

They had developed a routine. Ding Gui and the three patriarchs used their race's special method to pour life energy into Lu Li to keep him alive and to help him restore his vitality.

As streams of green energy were poured into Lu Li, he seemed better. He could breathe more easily now.

Bai Xiashuang couldn't help but cry out with delight. Lu Ling winked at her, telling her not to make a sound in case Ding Gui was disturbed.

Ding Gui and his patriarchs kept on pouring life energy into Lu Li. They finally stopped after several hours, exhausted. Ding Gui couldn't even stand still. He stood up, walked with faltering steps and almost fell.

Ming Yu hurried over to support Ding Gui. The latter closed his eyes to rest. A while later, he said, "Take the Wood Fruit out. Cook a potion with the other fruits from the Prison of Wood and help Saint Lord to take the medicine."

Ming Yu quickly took out a ring and picked out several sweet-scented fruits. He cooked a potion under Ding Gui's instruction and fed it to Lu Li.

Lu Li was visibly better after being treated by Ding Gui and his patriarchs for six hours. His skin that had age pigment and wrinkles had restored its smoothness. As the age pigments disappeared, Lu Li seemed to be dozens of years younger.

After he was fed with the potion, he could breathe more stabilized. He still seemed to be aged and his hair was white. However, he was out of the woods already.

Ding Gui and his patriarchs took some elixirs and sat on the ground to recover. Several hours later, they fed Lu Li with life energy again.

As a matter of fact, to pour life energy was something that could undermine the cultivation of Ding Gui and the patriarchs. But Lu Li was their Saint Lord. It was their due responsibility to help him.

Shennong Race once was bullied by the other races. The Shennong Race was greatly indebted to Lu Li. Of course, they would try their best to save Lu Li.

Every several hours, Ding Gui and his patriarchs would pour life energy into Lu Li. He was fed with potions once a day. He had been recovering well.

Lu Li had lost so much weight that he was merely skins and bones. Gradually, he was returning back to normal. His aged skin was turning younger. Lu Ling and Bai Xiashuang could put their minds at ease.

The fruit from the Prison of Wood had performed miracles. Those fruits that were related to wood contained large amounts of life energy. Lu Li had lost his vitality, source of life. Otherwise, his hair would not turn white and his skin would not have aged.

Ten days later, Lu Li's face returned back to his youthful state. He was still unconscious, but he had recovered. Only his hair was still white.

Patriarch of Law Enforcement was completely relieved. He let people spread the news. The Demon-slaying City celebrated. The news was sent to the Great Land as well. Many flew into joy. People rushed about, telling the news. The streets were packed with celebratory crowds, delighted over the recovery of Lu Li.

Those forces that were trying to take actions, such as the Yaksha Race and Pavilion of Blossoms' surviving forces went back into hiding. Palace of Immortal's Inquiries, Red Lunar and the Palace of Heaven's Roars were disappointed. Their masters hurried to the Demon-slaying City to visit Lu Li…

One of the groups would launch an a.s.sault toward the Bai Jing City and the other one would make a clean sweep of the Eastern Land of Oceans.

The Asmodians had few Earth Immortal Realm warriors left. Half of them were killed by Lu Li in the battle at the Demon-slaying City. This time, more Earth Immortal Realm Asmodians died in the hands of Lu Li. At the moment, the number of Earth Immortal Realm Asmodians was fewer than 10.

What made it worse was the death of Asmodian Lord and the damage of the Originator Artifact, which made morale ratings drop among the Asmodians. Asmodians were human's nemesis. Too many humans had died in the hands of Asmodians. Given such a chance for revenge, not surprisingly, those human warriors would sally forth without control.
