The beasts sprang to action as soon as Ao Ding gave his command!

"Roar, roar~"

Some beasts of different groups took actions. Led by Beast Kings, the beasts swarmed into the basin toward the Wicked Bead.

"Let's go!"

Ao Ding waved his hand. Taking dozens with him, he flew to the towering mountains. They stood on top of one of the mountains and stared down into the basin.

The basin was a vast one with a radius of over three hundred miles. The surroundings could not be seen clearly because of the thick cloud and fog. The only thing that could be seen was that beasts were going in great numbers.

"What?"

Many beasts dashed in. However, there was no battle, explosions nor any howling that could be heard.

"Bones of Tortoise! What is going on?"

Ao Ding was confused so he asked Bones of Tortoise, the master of the Tortoise species. Bones of Tortoise was a short man. He was the one in charge of controlling the formation. Seeing there was no battle, Ao Ding thought Lu Li had run away. He was getting angry.

Bones of Tortoise frowned. He bowed and said quickly, "Lord Ao Ding, I swear with my life that the humans are still in there. I can control the formation and I know if someone has run out."

These words calmed Ao Ding down. He waved his hand and commanded, "Send someone in to take a look."

Bones of Tortoise sent a man who was shorter than him to go to the basin. The man that Bones of Tortoise had sent vanished into the white cloud. Since they could not see what was going on in the basin, Ao Ding gave no further orders. Everyone waited quietly.

The formation had been activated and could not be closed for no reason. There were many beasts around. Caution should be exercised.

"Boom, boom, boom!"

Not long afterward, an explosion from the basin was heard, but it died down right away.

The man that Bones of Tortoise had sent finally came back after the time for two incense sticks to burn and reported, "Lord Ao Ding, my lords, the humans had probably gone into an impressive interspatial item. The regular beasts cannot see it. I sensed some fluctuation of energy from that item. I tried but could not crack it."

"Interspatial item? You cannot break it?"

The beasts were excited. The paleo-beasts, even though they did not know how to refine artifacts, did possess some artifacts that formed naturally in ancient times. However, many of those artifacts were robbed from them.

Therefore, the presence of an artifact excited the paleo-beasts. Only Beast G.o.ds of the paleo-beasts could take shapes of humans. The man that Bones of Tortoise had sent might not be the most powerful, but he was a Beast G.o.d no less. He could not crack this interspatial artifact? Then it must be a piece of treasure.

Foxy smiled, "Brother Ao Ding, how about you let me try it?"

As soon as Foxy opened her mouth, the others were displeased. Foxy was clearly trying to have the treasure for herself. Seduction was what she was most skilled at. That being said, her abilities were strong. If she brought her people in, the treasure would probably end up in her pocket.

Ao Ding only thought for a moment before he said, "Sure, Foxy, go ahead and bring someone with you. If you sense danger, let us know at once. The formation must remain activated. Be careful."

Ao Ding was cautious. After all these years, it was the first time humans ever came to this realm. He must capture these humans and learn something from them. If the human warriors of the nine universes were preparing for an invasion to the Paleo-beast Realm, the paleo-beasts had to be ready.

"Let's go!"

Foxy waved her hand and took five men and one of her ladies with her. They then flew down. Soon, they went past the fog and entered the basin.

Being Beast G.o.ds, they were fast. They arrived in the time for dozens of breaths. They noticed with psychic power a small bead lying in the middle of the basin.

Many species of beasts were waiting here. They dropped to their knees out of respect when Foxy arrived. She waved her hand, and the beasts stepped to the sides and waited in the corner.

The formation had been activated. Before the formation was closed, the beasts could not leave. Therefore, the beasts had to wait in the corner. If they wandered around, they would only go in circles.

"Such a piece of treasure!"

Foxy squinted her eyes. Her psychic power was strong. The Fairy Fox species were born with strong souls. However, she could not see inside with her psychic power. She could not even sense the fluctuation of energy inside the Wicked Bead. She was now more convinced that the Wicked Bead was powerful.

"Attack!"

Foxy signaled to several men who flew away. Each swung a glaring fist and smashed at the Wicked Bead.

"Swis.h.!.+"

Their fists were surrounded by a golden airstream which could blast a hole on the ground. But the Wicked Bead did not even tremble and merely gave out a feeble light. The Wicked Bead was now hovering above the cave. They found the Wicked Bead's actions to be strange and weird.

"What…"

Foxy opened her cherry lips in surprise. Her b.r.e.a.s.t.s trembled as she breathed heavily. Her cheeks were blus.h.i.+ng in excitement.

Two Beast G.o.ds' attack could not budge the Wicked Bead? Was the bead a Relic? How else could the bead be so strong?

"Continue!"

Foxy ordered. Four men stood in a circle and attacked continuously.

Foxy did not take actions herself. She kept staring at the Wicked Bead while breathing heavily. She was dying to crack the Wicked Bead as soon as possible. She would lose owners.h.i.+p of the bead once Ao Ding came.

"Boom, boom, boom!"

The four Beast G.o.ds attacked on and on. All were attacking from a distance or else they would not be able to act simultaneously. Underneath the Wicked Bead, the ground had caved in deeply. Sounds of incessant blasting lingered on. Dark smoke billowed, covering up the sky and blotting the sun.

"Five Beast G.o.ds? Two of them should be of the Fairy Fox species."

Lu Li had already stopped cultivating. He had already sensed that someone was attacking the Wicked bead since Bones of Tortoise' man had attacked it. But Lu Li did not come out rashly. He had been trying to monitor the situation through the Wicked Bead.

Killing those beasts was pointless. What Lu Li desired was to leave the formation. If he was stuck here for several years, then all his family and friends would die when those of the nine universes came…

"Lu Li, how is it?"

Patriarch of Law Enforcement stopped cultivating as well. He did not know what was going on outside. He could tell something was up given that Lu Li was nervous.

"There are five Beast G.o.ds!"

Lu Li explained and added, "There must be more and one of them should be the one controlling the formation. So, let us wait and let them go on for a while. We need to find the most suitable time. Just be prepared."

"Okay!"

Patriarch of Law Enforcement took out his rod. He was ready. Later, he asked, "How long can your bead last?"

"Ha, ha!"

Lu Li smiled. "There are only a few Beast G.o.ds attacking the bead. Even a thousand of them will not break my bead in a thousand years."

"Really?"

Patriarch of Law Enforcement was stunned and became calm at the same time. When time permits, they would dash out and mop up the beasts.
