Chapter 633: Ident.i.ty Revealed

Translator: Alsey Editor: Chrissy

The Village of Ten Thousand Deities had previously been as peaceful as the tranquil Pure Land

However, it was quickly stained with blood and filled with continuously repeating mournful cries. Everyone attacked each other to s.n.a.t.c.h the breathing technique and divine medicine.

A huge, golden beast cut across in the distance. It was the Golden Taotie, an extremely strong man. He’d been beheaded and his true form had been revealed.

On the other side was a large, black snake curled into a mountainous lump. It let out a hissing sound as it stuck out its snake tongue. In the end, a silver mouse snuck up and attacked it by biting through its neck.

This powerful silver mouse could cross the void and suddenly appear. He was an extremely strong killer.

“Watch out! There’s actually a void mouse. Don’t let him bore holes!” Now, even the young experts ranked in the top hundred were trembling in both awe and worry of this ma.s.sive silver mouse.

“Roar!”

A loud roar was let out as the Origin Magnetic Sacred Physique’s hair fell over his shoulders and silver blood energy overflowed from all his pores. His strength pulled up mountains and shadowed the world, and his ferocity was unmatched.

Bang!

He suddenly attacked. His fist came cras.h.i.+ng down and the dozen golden figures in the sky all wailed mournfully. One by one they fell and exploded with a bang as they transformed into a b.l.o.o.d.y paste.

Those were a dozen golden, winged snakes. Their wings hummed as they flapped. Just now they’d already bored through ten experts at the peak of the visualization level.

This type of flying serpent was the descendant of an extremely powerful quasi-divine beast. Their bodies were like swords and could easily penetrate their opponents’ flesh.

Yet in the end, they immediately fell and turned to a b.l.o.o.d.y pulp after meeting with but a single punch from the Origin Magnetic Sacred Physique.

“Be careful everyone! The Netherworld Ant race is here, and they’re mounting sneak attacks!”

Someone cried out in horror and then instantly howled in grief. A black ant as large as a rhinoceros had appeared and attacked from behind without a single word. Its maw, filled with teeth as large as pliers, bit and snapped him in two with a single bite. He then dissolved into a puddle of pus and blood.

In precisely that instant, four or five large, black ants moved like a storm. Their invulnerable black bodies flickered and flashed like l.u.s.trous gold and were as big as a rhinoceros. The Netherworld Ants had appeared in the Pure Land.

This place had been peaceful not long ago, but in the blink of an eye opportunities appeared and blood flowed everywhere. The area had become the battlefield of a ma.s.sacre.

In a single breath Chu Feng cut down eight elders of the Deity Race. This infuriated Luo Fu. He directly killed his way over yet found emptiness. As expected he’d narrowly missed the hack of a blade that came from the void.

However, as the first young expert of the Deity Race, Luo Fu possessed an outstanding strength and an extremely keen divine perception. As such, he’d been able to constantly estimate Chu Feng’s position in the void and fiercely counter attack.

Chu Feng had fixed his attention on killing the strongest descendent of the Deity Race, yet he didn’t continue fighting. An opportunity had appeared in the Village of Ten Thousand Deities, and he didn’t want to miss it.

He steered the green bamboo raft off into the distance in absolute silence. He rushed toward a stone tablet. People were crowded around the place and fighting over the tablet. Among them were the Immortal Destiny Physique and Ying Wudi, who had already struck each other several times causing the area to overflow with smoke and dust. This affected some evolvers and sent them flying into the air where they burst into a b.l.o.o.d.y mist.

The stone tablet was three hundred meters tall. Its surface was covered in brilliant lights and vibrant colors as well as the occasional flickering runes. A white mist twisted and lingered around it, and it emitted the sounds of ancient people chanting sutras. This was a mark left behind by the forebears.

Chu Feng quickly exposed an unusual expression. He was convinced that this was not the pa.s.sing on of the robbery induction, and because of this, he let out a prolonged sigh. He didn’t need to worry about this breathing technique reaching the cosmos.

Before long the Immortal Destiny Physique and Ying Wudi also left. They both had their own ultimate breathing techniques, and if this was not the Robbery Induction Breathing Technique, then it no longer attracted them.

Chu Feng smelled a fragrant odor in the herb garden indicating the embodiment of some ripened great medicine. He searched for it, but a sharp claw suddenly rushed over to clutch him right at the critical moment. It was ruthless and horrifying.

It must be borne in mind that he was steering the green bamboo raft and hidden in the void, so how could he suddenly be discovered and perceived?

He quickly realized this was a void mouse who, just like him, could come and go without a trace. He didn’t know when it had focused its attention on him and decisively attacked.

“I haven’t targeted you, yet to my surprise, you dare to attack me.” Chu Feng smiled coldly as he dodged the attack. Reincarnation blade in hand, he attacked the mouse.

Void mice were rare, but they all played a ruthless role among a.s.sa.s.sins and were incomparably hard to deal with. There were rarely any miscalculations once they’d targeted someone.

“Pop!”

After a dozen or so blows, the mouse’s giant head finally flew of and landed on the ground. Fresh blood spouted from the open wound, and next the corpse and spirit were both eliminated. Its reincarnation was cut off and it thoroughly died.

“Squeak, squeak…”

The sound of a mouse’s voice came from the sky. Five void mice appeared again. They were of varying sizes and colors including silver, blue, and gold. Their eyes glowed with a faint radiance as they stared hatefully at Chu Feng.

Chu Feng was amazed. How could so many appear at once despite the race’s rarity?

He felt this was anything but rea.s.suring, so he steered the green bamboo raft high into the sky and attacked. In his opinion, this race was more of a threat to him because they easily exposed him.

Rip!

A beam of light akin to that of the edge of a sword appeared in the sky indicating a tear in the void. It rapidly spread toward Chu Feng with the intent to cut him in half.

This was the legendary dimensional slice!

Typically only old beasts could use this type of ability; however, the void mice were quite strange in their ability to pa.s.s through the void and could possess such a technique.

Chu Feng trembled in awe and fear at the dimensional slice. He didn’t dare endure such an attack.

Rip, rip, rip…

The reincarnation blade glowed and swept across the area. After ten blows in the battle against the five void mice, he killed three in a row. The remaining two turned and ran away.

Chu Feng caught up to one and cut it in two, splas.h.i.+ng fresh blood everywhere in the void. In the end, there was still one on the run. Chu Feng frowned when it concealed itself in the void.

Then he decided to ignore it, opting instead to go along and search the area. There was a faint yet enticing scent leading to a domain, and although there were many evolvers around it, they couldn’t get in. Chu Feng broke through and quietly entered without being discovered.

Once he entered, he couldn’t help but frown at the repeating domains that cost him several actions. Finally, he made it to the Pure Land’s forest of rubble.

This area was already separated from the medicinal herb garden.

He was astounded. Were it not for his knowledge of domains, he would have had great difficulty reaching this place so quickly. This good fortune was practically prepared for him.

He quickly saw the short stone mountain within the stone forest. Halfway up the mountain was a dark and indistinct cave that gave off a strong medicinal scent.

“Is this truly the Medicine of Immortality?” He was a bit stirred. Freshly picked Medicine of Immortality held great significance for evolvers. Some could advance evolution, some could convert blood and mold bones, and others could cause people to obtain nearly sequential wondrous power.

Not all mutant fruits and great medicine could make people finally step on the road to evolution. Some benefits bestowed on creatures were even more terrifying, powerful, and shocking than their evolution.

Chu Feng cautiously entered the cave. Sure enough, it was densely covered in multiple domains that defended the area. Luckily he was already at the level of master; otherwise, he may not be able to enter so smoothly.

Next, the green bamboo raft appeared from within the void. The domain runes up ahead were crowded together closely and blocked the way. It was impossible to cross over, so he could only tread upon the area and put away the magic raft.

The domain symbols in the dark cave lit up making the path up ahead was especially splendid. Chu Feng felt as though he were treading on a path made of piled-up stars.

Throughout his whole journey, he dispelled the domains and managed to emerge from the daunting experience without mishap. He arrived at the end of the path and discovered a stone room with a rotting wooden box. This was the source of the scent.

“Hm?” Chu Feng was surprised. He thought some type of divine medicine would be growing from the ground here. Why would it be in an old box?

Chu Feng lifted the reincarnation blade to poke open the box, but in that instant, a cold air blew outward from his tailbone. He felt horrified.

“Whoos.h.!.+”

He decisively turned back and immediately fled from the stone room. He followed his original path and flew away without looking back.

Rumble!

The rotten wooden box in the stone room exploded with terrifying boiling energy that was sufficient to melt even evolvers who’d surpa.s.sed the visualization level.

Here at least eight purple crystals exploded in a burst of lightning. Chu Feng had automatically triggered them the moment he stepped into the stone room, and they exploded in an instant.

A visible purple mushroom cloud rose up and split the s.p.a.ce open. If Chu Feng had been even the slightest bit late just now, his body and soul would be eliminated.

Despite this, the energy waves behind him still smacked him till he spat blood. The Immortal Divine Silk clothing he wore glittered violently and helped him neutralize it. Afterward, some places were torn apart with a breaking sound.

One could imagine just how terrifying this place’s purple lightning crystals were. Had the energy waves not been stopped by the Immortal Divine Silk clothing, his body would have still been torn apart.

Chu Feng’s eyes were like little suns from which a blaze boiled from. The gold light terrified people. His heart was quite cold because he knew that this was absolutely set by someone. Someone was giving him a taste of his own medicine.

The so-called Medicine of Immortality was definitely fake.

But why was it so targeted?

“Buzz!”

The runes in the void glowed, giving the domain a more menacing appearance. Hundreds of swords wove together into a curtain of light and hacked at Chu Feng in an attempt to hinder his escape.

This stone mountain had an issue—the whole thing was a trap!

Chu Feng suspected that this was a “domain treasure” brought from the outer-realm. This entire mountain didn’t actually belong to Kunlun and could both grow and shrink.

This was because if it were a normal stone mountain, the previous huge explosion would have transformed it into lava and ashes. Not a single place would be left.

This didn’t seem to be left behind by the forebears. When he carefully thought about it, it seemed more like an a.s.sa.s.sination attempt intended for a domain master.

Those eight strange purple lightning crystals tore apart the area but didn’t cause the mountain to explode. Naturally, this wasn’t an ordinary short stone mountain.

Now several parts of the mountain changed pure and crystalline. They shone with a piercing brilliance as they thoroughly activated several domains.

Now several elders were even more shocked than Chu Feng. They gathered together and defended themselves from outside as they watched, dumbstruck.

“We only followed the Xilin race’s suggestion to place a domain trap, yet someone actually broke in and entered!?

“This… Don’t tell me that person didn’t actually die in purgatory? Was it he who disintegrated the domain and entered just now? Our hopeless arrangement really took effect!?”

The people defending themselves nearby were all dumbstruck, and then they all trembled and felt emotionally stirred. They felt they’d unintentionally caught a terrifying alligator.

Luo Fu of the Deity race, a middle-aged man from the Xilin race, a strange youth from the Netherworld race, and Qin Luoyin of the Dameng Pure Land rushed to the scene at the first moment. The four races had arranged this fatal domain, so they abruptly appeared here.

“It’s not necessarily him. There are several profound domain academics in the world.”

“But we know all the domain masters who came to Earth, and none of them entered. We’ll know the truth in a moment!”

Luo Fu and the middle-aged man from the Xilin race were talking.

Qin Luoyin’s heart was pounding, and her exceptionally beautiful face had an expression of disbelief. It was hard for her to stay calm as she stared at the stone mountain. Could that person really have escaped purgatory alive?”
