Chapter 663: Uncle Chu Kills a Nephew

Translator: Alsey Editor: Chrissy

Chu Feng was within the metallic encas.e.m.e.nt—rather than armor, it should be called a top-grade saint clothing. It was covered in dense runes and could automatically provide terrifying energy. He was like a true saint descending to the world.

The cold metallic l.u.s.ter, the slender and powerful body, and the agile movements, everything was similar to a true saint. Chu Feng tore the void apart with a swoosh and charged over.

This was an unprecedented experience. He could now tear the void apart, roam the cosmos, or pluck the moon with a raise of his hand. This was a feeling of extreme power.

There was a single moment where Chu Feng was enlightened. It was as though his vital level had transitioned and a new, outstanding world had opened up before him.

The metallic saint clothing gave him the most realistic comprehension of the world. Most sceneries from before were but colors and shapes, but after the a.n.a.lysis projected by the armor, he could see that all of them were arrangements of energy.

Tsch!

Chu Feng attacked after coming to. The spear in his grasp wasn’t very long, but it was extremely sharp and suffused with a blue gleam. It suddenly appeared in his right hand and transformed into a beam of light which stabbed toward Wei Tiansheng.

The spear tore through s.p.a.ce, emitting a thunderous explosion. That was a surge of energy and a breakdown of the void—blackholes and spatial cracks were spreading outward to form a frightening spectacle.

In the past, the air would explode thunderously when Chu Feng exceeded the speed of sound. The current level was completely different. It was a void explosion, accompanied by energy ripples, and even the small comets nearby were about to be destroyed. It was capable of ending myriad life!

Fortunately, the Nine-Nether Planet could take all of this damage.

Wei Tiansheng hacked out. The sword energy tore through s.p.a.ce and brought together with it a saint-grade energy. The green sword emitted a whistling cry like a demonic G.o.d killing his way out of h.e.l.l. It shook one to the soul, almost bringing about a collapse of the spirit.

The metallic saint clothes on Chu Feng’s body glowed brightly. The thousands of runes therein lit up and destroyed the terrifying spiritual attack. His entire body surged with dazzling saint light and flames which stretched into the skies. He was like a G.o.d of war who had descended from another realm.

Clang!

The azure spear clashed with the green sword amidst a shower of sparks. The impact shocked the void and caused the s.p.a.ce around them to explode, resulting in utter destruction.

The scene would surely terrify evolvers of other levels. If they were standing here, they would’ve disintegrated and turned to ash under the runes of the spear and sword lights.

This kind of energy, this level of combat would even cause a quasi-saint to feel hopeless. The difference was simply too great.

Anything related to the word saint signified a complete transformation. It was as though one had crossed over to a different side of a heavenly chasm—it was a qualitative difference.

The two flew backward, shattering the black mountains behind them in the process. Smoke rose into the air as the peaks nearby crumbled despite the protection of nine nether energy.

The two stood glowing like stars amidst the dust clouds and black energy. With a swoosh, they broke free from their bindings and once again crashed into one another for a life or death duel.

Boom!

A black s.h.i.+eld appeared before Chu Feng’s left arm which protected his vitals. Wei Tiansheng’s fist smashed upon it and actually left fingerprints there. Although the s.h.i.+eld restored itself in mere moments and was just as l.u.s.trous as before, one could imagine how terrifying Wei Tiansheng’s fist was.

He was only a quasi-saint, yet his current fighting power was comparable to a true saint after devouring the source power of three saints.

Clang!

At the same time, the s.h.i.+eld also blocked a kick from Wei Tiansheng. A large part of it sunk in but soon bulged back out and recovered its previous form.

The next moment, their showdown became b.l.o.o.d.y. Wei Tiansheng’s green sword hacked into Chu Feng’s head. The latter didn’t evade but went all out with his attack instead.

Chu Feng maintained his momentum and received the vast energy of the incoming sword with his head. Meanwhile, the azure spear in his right hand thrust toward Wei Tiansheng’s forehead. This was a method wherein both of them would receive heavy lethal injuries.

Wei Tiansheng revealed a sinister smile and didn’t evade. He had already made calculations—his sword had more runes upon it, and moreover, he had attacked Chu Feng first.

Clang!

That was actually the case. The green sword, a true saint weapon of peerless might, erupted with thousands of runes as it struck Chu Feng’s head. In the end, sparks flew in all directions, but the blade failed to slash open the target.

At this moment, the spear in Chu Feng’s hand had somewhat pierced into Wei Tiansheng’s forehead and drawn blood. Wei Tiansheng drew back rapidly like a specter.

But the spear left a deep wound on his face. It extended from his forehead, across his nose and lips, and very nearly stabbed through his throat. He had evaded the attack in the nick of time.

Chu Feng’s metallic saint clothes were indestructible. If he had to rank Xi’s weapons, the Heavenly Umbrella was incomparable. Next up was this defensive saint apparel.

The key here was that the saint apparel could provide saint-level energy. That was the most important thing about this item. Moreover, it could transform between a battle armor and a s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p.

Wei Tiansheng’s face was stained with blood and looked even more sinister. “Evil remnant of earth, me and my father have killed many survivors from back then. One of the energy saint origins within my body comes from a saint from earth. He survived until now, yet was ambushed and killed by us. Which n.o.body are you?!”

Chu Feng wanted nothing more than to kill him first and be done with it. He was naturally angrier after seeing this att.i.tude.

“Xilin clan, stop putting on an act. Today, Grandpa Chu will slaughter you and see where you got that arrogance from.”

He rushed over with the azure spear in hand and asked the young girl Xi to use her Heavenly Umbrella. He told her to stop focusing on locking down s.p.a.ce and suppress him for real instead.

Chu Feng had personally taken to the field because he couldn’t hold back the stifling resentment. He had to vent it in this manner.

Naturally, he had no intention of speaking reason with the other party. It was best if he could kill him. He just wanted to take part in slaughtering the Xilin clan!

“Surnamed Chu, remnant of earth, don’t tell me… you’re that bug who’s not even at the golden-arhat level?!” Wei Tiansheng’s eyes lit up. He used a saint technique in order to see through Chu Feng’s appearance and judge his ident.i.ty.

“I’m your Uncle Chu indeed. Get here!” Chu Feng shouted.

He didn’t care about revealing his ident.i.ty. His main motive was to kill Wei Tiansheng today and not allow him the chance to escape.

As for Xi, he had even less reason to keep secrets from her. He had more or less told her everything while explaining about the ident.i.ties of Uncle Ming and Nine Yin Sparrow.

His ident.i.ty had to be hidden, and the girl’s even more so. There was nothing to worry about between them.

“So it’s you, little b.a.s.t.a.r.d. You’re the one who was talking nonsense about challenging my father on the Origin Beast Platform. Heh, you dregs are indeed difficult to kill off and you don’t know the immensity of the heaven and earth!” Wei Tiansheng’s expression grew malicious after knowing Chu Feng’s ident.i.ty.

He said again, “Ha, someone like you is trying to fight with me when even countless ancestors of yours have died to me. If not for that battle armor and those strange weapons, even a hundred of you isn’t enough!”

Wei Tiansheng sneered. He naturally understood his precarious situation. He wasn’t afraid of anything else, but he was fairly apprehensive of the Heavenly Umbrella. That was a saint slaughtering weapon that caused even his skin to grow tense. He was restless all this time, but he had no way to leave as the s.p.a.ce had been locked down.

Chu Feng said in disdain, “You know that if ‘if’ and ‘supposing’ could be inferred just like that, I can also squish you to death with one hand if we were born in the same era. Speaking of which, I slaughtered the Xilin divine son and his sister who are indeed from my generation. You might’ve been more powerful when you were that age, but I can still stomp you to death even if I can’t do it with a squis.h.!.+”

Chu Feng wasn’t afraid at all. Although he wasn’t a saint, he was just that confident and resistant to setbacks. He began looking down on Wei Tiansheng after a round of talks.

“Kill!”

The latter charged over with a chill in his eyes. His status as Wei Heng’s son was special, and everyone had to treat him with respect. Now that he was being taunted by a junior, he was feeling great discomfort at heart and his expression was sinister.

Boom!

A sword slashed over and filled the entire area with green light. If this were in outer s.p.a.ce, a single slash would destroy numerous planets.

Clang!

Chu Feng blocked the attack with his s.h.i.+eld and retaliated with his spear.

At the same time, the Heavenly Umbrella pressed down upon the enemy. Wei Tiansheng’s expression changed. His entire body felt as though it had been suppressed by a divine mountain of primal chaos and could hardly even move.

The Heavenly Umbrella spun over and stifled Wei Tiansheng. This indefensible feeling was akin to meeting his own father Wei Heng.

Buzz!

Moreover, the umbrella was too sharp. It cut everything apart, tore through the void, and arrived for the kill.

Crack!

The green sword in his hand was broken as it simply couldn’t resist the attack.

Swoos.h.!.+

Chu Feng hurled out the spear in his hand. The distance was so close and the other party had been slowed down by the suppression of the Heavenly Umbrella, so there wasn’t any time to dodge.

A stream of blood shot out as a large b.l.o.o.d.y hole appeared in Wei Tiansheng’s chest. Even his heart had been pierced through. He let out a miserable scream and staggered back.

The Heavenly Umbrella then spun about and crushed one of his arms.

“Ah…” Wei Tiansheng roared.

At the same time, Chu Feng grabbed the umbrella, closed it, and smashed it forward like a truncheon.

Wei Tiansheng’s back burst open with a bang, breaking his bones and tendons into a b.l.o.o.d.y mess. He was sent flying with blood flowing out from his seven orifices. The injuries were simply too great.

All of this had to do with the Heavenly Umbrella. The might of an innate divine object was simply incomparable.

Chu Feng swung the umbrella with a buzz and made it spin once more, suppressing Wei Tiansheng.

At this moment, the latter roared furiously, “b.a.s.t.a.r.d, who do you think you are? You’re simply relying on external objects to fight!”

He fished out a glowing object from his body. It was the origin his father had plucked out from an enemy and sealed into his body to raise his strength. Now, he had taken one out and shot it at Chu Feng.

However, the Heavenly Umbrella spun about and blocked this attack. A terrifying light erupted and even the s.p.a.ce nearby was annihilated. Any other planet would’ve been wrecked and turned to dust.

The umbrella not only blocked the attack, but it also shot it back. This caused Wei Tiansheng to suffer grievous wounds and howl in agony. He very nearly vanished on the spot.

Badly damaged and filled with holes, his body was ruined beyond recognition. There was also a b.l.o.o.d.y defect on his forehead.

Chu Feng rushed over with a whoosh and swung down the black s.h.i.+eld in his left hand. The impact cracked open Wei Tiansheng’s skull and deformed his body. The enemy couldn’t help but let out a m.u.f.fled groan and spit out a mouthful of blood.

Wei Tiansheng endured the agony and flew into the air.

Pfft!

Chu Feng hurled his spear through the air which duly shot through Wei Tiansheng’s body. The force took him far away and nailed him to the ground.

At the same time, Chu Feng traversed the sky at great speed and landed beside the man, stomping him beneath his feet.

Chu Feng felt quite satisfied after venting his anger.

“You dreg…” Wei Tiansheng opened his mouth as though he wanted to say something.

In the end, Chu Feng stepped onto his mouth and said, “Shut up, your Uncle Chu hasn’t finished venting his anger. I’ll let you say one last thing before you die, but now, you’ll just have to swallow it back.”

Bang!

He stomped onto Wei Tiansheng’s forehead and scattered his spiritual power.

Chu Feng looked down and said, “Do you know why I came out personally? It’s not to fight to the death with you. It’s to beat you up, much like how a father would spank his child!”

Boom!

Chu Feng’s s.h.i.+eld swung down onto Wei Tiansheng’s face, beating him black and blue.

During the process, the Heavenly Umbrella was spinning, ready to go in for the kill.
