"They've already left; you can just talk to me," Kitty Likes Meat said as she batted her eyes in preparation to listen.

Square Root 3 explained the overall situation to her and Lu Li extended the invitation in the end.

"We want you to join Ruling Sword as a professional player. We'll be able to put you on stage in the immediate upcoming compet.i.tion."

"That's so soon, but I'm not ready yet..." Kitty Likes Meat mumbled softly.

"We won't send you out immediately into arena matches. After all, those are scored by head counts," Lu Li explained honestly.

"Ah, am I just a subst.i.tute?"
