The Book of Daoism was written by ‘Lao Zi’ Li Er in the Spring and Autumn Period. It was also called The Cla.s.sic of the Way’s Virtues, The Cla.s.sic Book of Integrity, and the Way and the 5000 Character Cla.s.sic.
