Their sect was famed for their sword techniques. Their sect guardian treasure was a peerless sword technique, the Six Daos Sword Codex. Despite their shock at seeing the Hand of Heaven earlier, the Heavenly Immortals had originally decided against doing anything. But seeing the rampaging shockwaves, they had no choice but to set up thick barriers to stop the shockwaves. Who knows just how badly the mountain range would be damaged if the shockwaves were allowed to continue?

“How is Chen Qing?”

After the Heavenly Tribulation was over, their thoughts flew back to Chen Feng and they all revealed a look of uncertainty.

“Yes. He was too reckless. Why did he decide to so carelessly undergo his tribulation?”

“Greetings, seniors!” Chen Feng said, neither humility nor arrogance in his tone.

Chen Feng hesitated for a moment before deciding to be honest about it. “I will not hide it from fellow seniors. The real reason I entered the Six Daos Sword Faction is so that I can evade the murderous pursuit of my enemy.”

None of the Heavenly Immortals were surprised to hear that. It would seem they had guessed this long ago.

Seeing Chen Feng about to leave, Sword Premier Golden Light spoke up, “Wait.”

“Senior, what instructions do you have for me?” Chen Feng asked with a smile.

“Since you've chosen to join our Six Daos Sword Faction, you will be a member of our Six Daos Sword Faction in the future. If a disciple of our sect is in trouble, the sect naturally has to serve as the disciple's backer. If you are unwilling to tell us who your enemy is, we will not pursue the matter. But remember this, if you face any difficulties, you must ask the sect for help,” Sword Premier Golden Light said, a smile on his face.

“Thank you, senior.” Chen Feng nodded.

A token, different from the one Chen Feng received in the past, flew into his hand.

“From this moment onwards, you are a formal disciple of our Six Daos Sword Faction. You will be able to enjoy the treatment afforded to formal disciples. Be sure to cultivate yourself properly.”

After all the Heavenly Immortals had left, Chen Feng could not stop himself from smiling. If I had informed them that my enemy is from the Celestial Longevity Plane, these fellows would probably have chased me out, no? Despite his attempts to get a clearer look, however, that was all he could do.

Of the 108 fragments, I found two in the Six Daos Sword Faction and one in the Scarlet Heaven Pocket Dimension. For me to be able to find three fragments here despite the size of this universe, this can be considered a lot. Is there something else going on here?

Additionally, while the Great Wilderness Ding was a high-grade Divine artifact, it had been a long time since it broke apart. Could some other forces have destroyed some of its fragments? Or could some formidable cultivators have refined them?

Having reached that line of thought, Chen Feng immediately knew just how unreliable the plan to collect all the fragments to reform the Great Wilderness Ding was.

Note: The character translated into 'ten thousand' here is '万', pinyin 'wàn'. Generally, it means 'ten thousand', but it could also mean 'a great number'. These fellows are cultivators with life spans of millions of years. So, yea… I dunno which one the author means here. =/
