“Senior, let us help you!” The four Ascendant Immortals quickly moved forward. By not allowing the opposing Earthen Immortals to form an encirclement around them, they would still be able to leave.

Patriarch Hegemon Sword's face suddenly changed. Opening his mouth, he sprayed out sword energy and the water yaos before him were all killed, reduced into a mist of blood. “Island Lord!” Patriarch Hegemon Sword could still feel fear in his heart due to what happened earlier. That water yao had nearly devoured him. Should that happen, it would be very hard for him to escape.

“Greetings, Island Lord!” The four Ascendant Immortals did not rush over. Instead, they stayed where they were, saluting respectfully from far away.

“Mobilize the members from the various forces to set up a defensive circle three million li away from East Dragon Island's borders!” Chen Feng gave them an order.

“Affirmative!”

The four Ascendant Immortals quickly left. Truth be told, there had been no need for Chen Feng to give the order. The East Dragon Island Alliance had already taken action. “Fellows, let's stop for now.” Chen Feng sent forth a formidable soul wave. However, the other party clearly did not think too highly of Chen Feng and Patriarch Hegemon Sword. As they fought, two more Ascendant Immortals emerged from the surface of the ocean.

One of them was a multi-coloured wyrm. On its head were two horns, which radiated lightning currents. The other one was a ma.s.sive tentacle monster. Countless tentacles swayed about ceaselessly. There was a potent poison within those tentacles.

The moment the lightning currents shot out, they formed a net that covered the sky. As for the tentacles, they sprayed out stream after stream of poison, which rapidly spread out into the ocean waters. Due to that, some of the water yaos that were too close to the affected area were poisoned to death.

Some of them were Yao Immortals.

“Looks like there is a need to put on some display of skills.” Chen Feng knew. In order to start talks with the other party, he would need to go all out. Chen Feng beckoned and the Treasured Ocean Pearl and Lightning Bead appeared at the same time. After breaking apart the enemy attacks, they then a.s.sailed the water yaos.

Patriarch Hegemon Sword attacked in tandem with them, firing out a stream of tangible sword light, one that shone with a life-reaping l.u.s.tre. It swept forward and the tentacle monster was hacked into pieces.

The Blood Mustering Bead appeared. This was the best situation for the Blood Mustering Bead and the wyrms inside it to improve further. The Blood Mustering Bead's strength kept rising and a b.l.o.o.d.y light enveloped the place to affect even the water yaos at the Ascendant Immortal stage. That was especially so for those with wounds on their bodies. Blood kept spraying out from their wounds.

“How can I not be part of this?!” Patriarch Heavenly Sword appeared as well. Sword cultivators possessed the strongest offensive power. When it came to those on the same level, the offensive power that Patriarch Hegemon Sword and Patriarch Heavenly Sword could wield far surpa.s.sed that of the others. That was also why these two were the first to take action.

While it would not be that easy for the Blood Mustering Bead to level up again, the nine Poisonous Vileblood Wyrms inside it had already reached the threshold for breaking through. If it weren't for Chen Feng, who felt that their strength was growing too quickly and utilized a secret technique to suppress their cultivation bases, they would have emerged to undergo their tribulations.

“If not for the fact that those water yaos could pose a threat to East Dragon Island, I really want to just kill off all the water yaos here. All that blood would be enough to let the Blood Mustering Bead advance again,” Chen Feng said. He did not continue attacking. Hearing Chen Feng's words, the six cultivators instantly burst into a fit of laughter. In their opinion, even though Chen Feng possessed several Immortal artifacts, he was clearly an Earthen Immortal. As they were water yaos who respected might above all else, they did not think much of Chen Feng.
