“Which Dr. Liu?” Huo Mian didn’t make the connection right away.
South Side was huge, and there were numerous Dr. Liu’s. She couldn’t have known which one it was.
“Doctor Liu Ze.”
“What’s wrong with him?” Huo Mian never liked Liu Ze and had her guard up.
Huo Mian wasn’t worried, she was even a little repulsed and suspicious.
“He fainted in the operating room.”
“Fainted? Did he finish the operation?”
“Yeah, luckily. We wouldn’t have time to find another doctor otherwise.”

“I ran some tests, he has low blood sugar… He has been working overtime a lot recently… He worked the graveyard s.h.i.+ft a few days in a row and performed three major surgeries. He fainted from exhaustion and low blood sugar. I suggest that you give him paid leave.”
