Huo Mian’s second sentence exploded in Su Yu’s heart like a huge bomb.
If he understood it right, she was asking him if he wanted her if she divorced.
Did she mean that?
Su Yu froze in astonishment when he heard this bold sentence; he didn’t know what to say.
After all, this wasn’t Huo Mian’s style; with her personality, she’d never say something like this.
But the person standing before him was indeed Mian. Su Yu was confused, totally confused.
“Su Yu, why didn’t you say something? You dislike me, too?”
“No, no, no. I’ll never, ever, dislike you,” Su Yu said hurriedly.

Huo Mian thanked him with a smile and said she’d go to Sky Blessing Court to see her mother.
They parted ways at the exit of the mall. Su Yu offered to drive her, but she refused and left in a taxi.
Watching Huo Mian’s departing back, Su Yu felt something wasn’t right but couldn’t put it to words. Maybe he was just imagining things.
Returning to his office, Su Yu couldn’t go back to his work. He considered Huo Mian’s behavior carefully and thought he should talk to Qin Chu; after all, he had caused the problem between the couple.
He pulled out Qin Chu’s number and called him.
“Qin Chu, it’s me.”
“I know.”
“Mian came to see me today,” Su Yu said calmly.
“Oh? What did she say?” Qin Chu indeed sounded indifferent.
“She said you two fought. Is it true?”
“You can say so.”
“Qin Chu, I think… Mian isn’t easy…”
“No one is easy. None of us are easy,” Qin Chu said mysteriously.
“Do you have time tonight to see me? Can we talk?” Su Yu thought he needed to talk to Qin Chu in person and told him that if he continued questioning Huo Mian, Huo Mian might want to divorce him.
