The moon and the dim stars were hanging low in the sky, and the strange-looking horses covered with black scales were moving forward rapidly. Even though the horses were pulling carriages full of people, their speeds were not affected at all.

“A demon is spotted!” a sharp voice shouted. At the same time, many people were drawing their blades and swords.
