“Don’t be afraid,” Jiang Chen comforted her, before he started walking toward the dog of his own accord.

“Jiang…Jiang Chen.” Yiya couldn’t even speak properly, and she really wondered where did Jiang Chen get such great courage. She could see that the dog was ready to pounce at its target. It had built up its whole body’s power, while its black fur seemed like a cl.u.s.ter of steel needles. What Yiya cared the most about was this dog’s size, as its body nearly occupied the whole pa.s.sage.

“Xiao Ying,” Jiang Chen shouted.

Yiya was confused by this, and she wondered who he was calling. But just after this, she got to see that the dog went through a marvelous transformation. Its fur started becoming smooth and supple, while its size shrank down, and its eyes’ blood-red l.u.s.ter disappeared. In the end, the dog became as small as a kitten, and it strode forward vigorously. It started circling around Jiang Chen. At first, the puppy was confused and vigilant, but after it sniffed Jiang Chen’s body, it was surprised and delighted, and it stuck out its tongue.
