Su Mo went back to the inn and waited patiently.

He had no idea if Qin’er would look for him but he simply had to wait for her.

Qin’er was his only hope to get into Human Palace.

As for Chu Yan, Su Mo had no regard for him. He was merely a clown.

If not for Su Mo’s special ident.i.ty and the fact that he was trying to keep a low profile, he would not have let Chu Yan off.

He could only lie low for the time being as he wanted to avoid creating havoc.

Su Mo sighed. As he took note of what was going on outside, he was working on comprehending his Devouring Ultimacy at the same time.

In the twinkle of an eye, three days pa.s.sed.

Qin’er did not look for him but Su Mo was not anxious. He continued waiting.

He had decided to wait for another three days. If Qin’er did not look for him by then, he would think of other ways.

One day later, someone knocked on Su Mo’s door.

Su Mo used his Holy Senses and saw a middle-aged man standing outside his room. The man was in a brocade robe and he looked stern.

Su Mo opened his eyes and realized that the middle-aged man had just come out of Human Palace.

He had been observing Human Palace and thus he recognized the man.

Su Mo stood up and opened the door. He then looked at the middle-aged man.

“Elder, how can I help?” Su Mo asked.

“Are you Duan Jingtian?” The middle-aged man asked as he sized Su Mo up.

“Yes!” Su Mo nodded.

“Great. Come with me!” The middle-aged man said, leaving no room for any question.

“Are we going to Human Palace?” Su Mo asked. He believed that the middle-aged man had come to bring him to Human Palace.

Qin’er did not make the trip personally but she had sent someone over.

“Hmm!”

The middle-aged man nodded and said, “I have to get this straight. Although Miss Qin’er has recommended you, you still have to go through the talent test. If you don’t pa.s.s the test, you can’t enter Human Palace!”

“I understand!” Su Mo nodded and secretly heaved a sigh of relief.

Qin’er did not ignore him and she had arranged for someone to bring him to Human Palace.

“Alright. Let’s go!”

The middle-aged man said and turned around. He walked out with Su Mo following behind him.

Su Mo then entered Human Palace with the middle-aged man.

There were many smaller palaces in Human Palace like the royal families’.

Su Mo followed the middle-aged man to a grand palace.

There were not many people in the palace, and the middle-aged man brought Su Mo to an empty room by the side.

“Duan Jingtian, I am the deacon. Tell me about your background!” The middle-aged man said as he sat on the main seat, without asking Su Mo to take a seat.

“I am from the Ultimate Sword Domain in Sky Pool Holy Court and I cultivate martial arts on my own!” Su Mo said.

“Why do you want to join Human Palace?” The deacon asked again. He was simply going through the procedures.

Qin’er had told him about Duan Jingtian and he was not afraid that Duan Jingtian had ulterior motives.

After all, Duan Jingtian had had to start from the lowest rank. Without any achievement and contribution, he would not be able to get to the inner circle of the Palace.

“My reason is simple. I can achieve much only if I join a great force!” Su Mo replied with a straight face.

“The Ultimate Supreme Being Hall in Ultimate Sword Region is as powerful as Human Palace. Why do you come to the Reincarnation Holy Court?” The deacon asked again.

“I have a feud with some disciples from the Ultimate Supreme Being Hall and thus I have no wish to join them!” Su Mo replied plainly.

“Alright. How about your talent? What Primordial Spirit do you possess?” The deacon asked.

In fact, the deacon knew that Su Mo had great talent as he was not even 100 years old.

“I see. Show it to me!” The deacon said, looking a little amazed.

The deacon nodded. He did not ask any more questions and simply said, “With your talent, you can join Human Palace. From now on, you will be an Outer Palace Disciple.”

“Thank you, Deacon!” Su Mo cupped his fist at the deacon when he heard what the deacon had said.

“Give me a drop of your blood. I don’t need your Blood Essence!” The deacon turned his palm over and two pieces of jade pendants appeared.

Su Mo acceded to the deacon’s request as he had asked for the ordinary blood. That would not expose his ident.i.ty.

Su Mo forced out a drop of blood from his fingertip and as he waved his hand, the drop of blood shot toward the deacon.

The deacon waved his hand and split the blood apart, directing it to the two pieces of jade pendants.

The deacon then threw one jade pendant to Su Mo.

“That will be your identification jade tag. As for this piece, I shall keep it at a special place in the palace!” The deacon said.

“Understand!” Su Mo said as he caught hold of the jade pendant.

“You can find your quarters from the jade pendant. There are also many messages in it. You can find the rules, cultivation places and much information. Go back and have a good look at it!” The deacon said.

“Thank you, Deacon!” Su Mo cupped his fist and thanked the deacon.

“Alright. You may leave!” The deacon said as he waved his hand.

“I shall excuse myself then!”

Su Mo bowed respectfully at the deacon and left the palace.

When he looked at the jade pendant, he saw the numbers 95278 stated on it!

Su Mo knew that it was the number of his quarters. As Human Palace was huge, he would need some time to locate it.

Su Mo triggered his thoughts to check on the jade pendant and he saw that there was a large amount of information on it.

There were many rules and a detailed map of the palace.

After checking on the map, Su Mo finally found the location of his quarters.

There was an Outer Palace and an Inner Palace in Human Palace. Su Mo was currently at the Outer Palace.

He started to walk toward his quarters.

Soon, he came to a region with several garrets.

The garrets were not big and they were about 16.5 meters tall. There were two levels in a garret, and each garret was about seven meters away from one another.

Soon, Su Mo found his quarters and he walked in.

The garret was simple. Other than the table and chairs, there was nothing else in it.

There was an ordinary cultivation room in the garret without any special array.

“Outer Palace, Inner Palace!” Su Mo sat cross-legged in the garret and checked on the jade pendant.

The jade pendant contained a lot of information, including the layout and the rules of the Palace. There were more rules compared to the Great Gulf Palace.

According to the records in the jade pendant, only disciples at the True G.o.d Realm could become Inner Palace Disciples.

Those disciples who were below the True G.o.d Realm were the Outer Palace Disciples.
