Since they were too close, and with the speed of the ball of flames, it almost instantaneously struck Wu Quan.

Before the ball of flames struck him, Wu Quan knew he was a goner. He could feel the area around him being scorched by the heat.

Without any chance of avoding the attack, Wu Quan shouted in desperation as he swung the long sabre in his hands valiantly at the flames.
