Heavenly Palace and Earth Palace knew that Long Chang First Elder could have brought Su Mo out of Dragon City.

However, Earth Palace did not send anyone to pursue him as Tuoba Qingyun was recuperating from his injury and Di Yuan Palace Master was not in Earth Palace.

Thus, although Earth Palace had sent some men to check on the situation, they did not send any of their top powers to tail the First Elder.

Earth Palace knew that Heavenly Palace had been taking a lot of action and they had been going to the various Holy Courts. Di Yuan Palace Master dared not slow down. He had been trying to get the various forces to support them.

Earth Palace's motive was not to get the forces to support them. They only wanted the forces not to support Heavenly Palace.

At the border of Starlight Court.

A visible streamer cut across the horizon at lightning speed and landed in a jungle after it tore the s.p.a.ce apart.

The streamer turned into a man and he was none other than Long Chang First Elder.

Buzz!

There were fluctuations in the area and Su Mo appeared beside the First Elder.

"Su Mo, this is Starlight Court. I shall not take you any further!" The First Elder said. He had spent six days on bringing Su Mo to the border of Chaotic Holy Court and had made a detour to Starlight Court.

"Thank you, First Elder!" Su Mo said as he cupped his fist at Long Chang First Elder.

"Hmm!" The First Elder nodded. He was not in a hurry to leave. After pondering for a while, he said, "Two days ago, I noticed someone tailing me. However, I managed to shake him off!"

"Oh?" Su Mo was surprised when he heard what the First Elder had said. Suddenly, he was enlightened. The one who was tailing the First Elder was surely the Ultimate Supreme Being!

The ordinary people from Heavenly Palace and Earth Palace were unlikely to catch up with the First Elder unless it was Tian Junhe, Di Yuan Supreme Being, Di Yihun, or Tuoba Qingyun. However, it was unlikely for any of them to be waiting for the First Elder outside Dragon City.

"Be careful when you are on your own!" Long Chang told Su Mo. He thought highly of Su Mo and felt that he had greater potential than Long Teng.

"I will. Thank you, First Elder!" Su Mo said as he cupped his fist at the First Elder.

"Hmm!" The First Elder nodded. He waved his sleeve and left in a stream, disappearing into the firmament.

When Su Mo saw that the First Elder had left, he took a deep breath. However, he was not in a hurry to leave.

He turned to look around him and heard the occasional cries of beasts and chirpings of birds.

"Elder, are you around?" Su Mo asked softly.

The area was empty and not a single soul was present. Su Mo started to frown when he saw the peaceful environment. Was the Ultimate Supreme Being unable to catch up with the First Elder?

"I've given you my word that I will protect you for five years and I will honor it."

A short, muscular figure walked out of an old tree that was not far away from Su Mo and it was none other than the Ultimate Supreme Being.

"Hoho! I thought you did not manage to catch up to us!" Su Mo laughed when he saw the Ultimate Supreme Being.

"Long Chang is still unable to shake me off with his speed!" The Ultimate Supreme Being said flatly.

"Great!"

Su Mo nodded and did not say another word. After he had checked the direction, he left the jungle in a flash.

He wanted to go to the Spatiotemporal Region as that was the only place that could allow him to advance to Rank 5 True G.o.d Realm within a short period of time. 

Although there might have been other places in the Deity Plane that could have helped him to have a breakthrough in his cultivation level within a short period of time, he only knew of the Spatiotemporal City and he was familiar with it.

While Su Mo was flying toward the Spatiotemporal Region, he changed his appearance and aura. He had turned into an ordinary guy with a dark complexion.

In a flash, the Ultimate Supreme Being disappeared and hid in the dark.

Given the Ultimate Supreme Being's cultivation level, no one would have been able to sense his presence unless it was another Supreme Being who possessed the same cultivation level as him.

After Su Mo had left, a streamer appeared in the air.

"It's the Ultimate Supreme Being!"

The streamer was Long Chang First Elder. He muttered to himself thoughtfully as he watched the direction that Su Mo had headed in.

In fact, a few days ago, he had noticed someone tailing him. However, he was uncertain if that person was still following him. Thus, he had lingered around after he left Su Mo.

He had not expected the person who was tailing him to be the Ultimate Supreme Being or that he was protecting Su Mo.

"This guy is not a simple person!" Shortly, Long Chang First Elder nodded. Given Su Mo's ability, it was possible for him to turn the situation to his advantage.

The First Elder did not stay on and he left shortly.

Su Mo did not fly at full speed. As he was on the way, he was cultivating. After traveling for about four months, he finally reached the Void City at the Spatiotemporal Region.

Su Mo contacted Ren De Palace Master once during the two months and Ren De had promised to do his best to get the right to change the position of the Array.

In order to get the right to change the position of the Array, his disciple had to come out on top in the Thousand Selection Fight.

Although Ren De Palace Master did not have absolute confidence in his disciples, he would ask them to do their best.

Ren De Palace Master had more confidence in Ye Lingtian, who was known as Young Master Ye. He was one of the Nine Young Masters in the Deity Plane.

Su Mo had told Ren De Palace Master to do his best.

Void City was still bustling as before, but the number of martial artists seemed to have increased. Su Mo then walked in carelessly into Void City.

The city was noisy as the martial artists moved together in groups.

"I've heard that the Thousand Selection Fight will take place in another five years. I wonder which genius will win the fight!"

"That's hard to predict. The Nine Young Masters are highly talented. Moreover, many of the Favored Ones have reached Rank 9 True G.o.d Realm. They stand a higher chance than the Nine Young Masters."

"Young Master Gongsun from Eternal Shrine seems to stand a higher chance!"

"I don't understand why these forces wish to gain the right to change the position of the Array. What benefits will they get to enjoy?"

"You must be unaware of it. There's a main base to the Great Ancient Array in the Deity Plane. The force that sets up the array can link the main base to their own territory. In the future, they will have more resources than anybody!"

The martial artists were deep in discussion in Void City and most of them were talking about the changing of position in the Array.

That concerned everybody. After the Deity Plane had changed its position, the resources, Spiritual Qi, and many other aspects would be greatly enhanced.

As the Thousand Selection Fight was near the corner, the commotion that Su Mo and Long Teng had created had died down as the people were talking about the Thousand Selection Fight.

"I see!" Su Mo heard the conversations of the people as he walked on the street and many of his questions had been answered.

He walked straight toward the entrance of the Spatiotemporal City.

Soon, Su Mo was below the Spatiotemporal City. A mult.i.tude of people were already crowding around the large Square below.
