Chapter 2478: Ident.i.ty Exposed

Helan Shang was a Rank 7 Lower True G.o.d and his strength was way mightier than that of Su Mo.

Although the blow that he had thrown out was meant to test Su Mo and he did not use his full strength, it was still extremely powerful.

When the powerful Palm Force came down from the sky, it was as if the entirety of the heavens had come down on Su Mo. If Su Mo had not stopped it, he would have been killed by the blow.

Everyone was shocked when they saw the scene. They were puzzled over Helan Shang's actions.

A ray of light flashed across Su Mo's eyes, and he flew backward.

The powerful Palm Force landed on the ground and caused the Holy Hall to quake as Su Mo managed to duck away from the blow.

However, the Holy Hall remained intact as it was so st.u.r.dy.

"What are you trying to do?" Su Mo shouted angrily as he stood up after he had ducked away from the blow.

"What am I trying to do? I am trying to find out how powerful you are!"

Helan Shang smiled wryly and threw out another blow. He stretched out his hand and tried to catch hold of Su Mo.

This time around, Helan Shang had exerted more strength and his hand turned into a huge Power Source Hand.

The Power Source Hand was mighty and half of the Holy Hall was covered by the imposing aura.

"Oh no!"

"Move back!"

"Step aside!"

The minute Helan Shang threw out the blow, the people moved hastily to the side in fear.

As Su Mo was engulfed by the Power Source Hand, he was unable to move away and could only take the blow head-on.

"c.r.a.p!"

Su Mo was utterly enraged. He found Helan Shang unreasonable as he had attacked him for no reason.

Su Mo threw out a punch with his fist and it hit the Power Source Hand hard.

Rumble!

A gigantic Chaotic Fist Force that was full of might and grandeur blasted the Power Source Hand.

The Power Source Hand blasted and caused the entire Holy Hall to quake.

The shockwaves raged around the entire Holy Hall and everyone tried their best to fend off the shockwaves.

"It's you!" Light shone on Helan Shang's eyes as he recognized Su Mo's aura when Su Mo threw out the blow.

He had verified Su Mo's ident.i.ty.

However, before he could throw out another blow, a figure dashed through the shockwaves to the door and headed toward level 12.

That figure was Su Mo, who had decided to leave the place.

His ident.i.ty had been exposed and he had to leave the place as he had no idea what motives Helan Shang possessed.

Although he did not wish to do so, he had to leave as a safety precaution.

"Are you trying to escape?"

Helan Shang pursued Su Mo in a flash as he was determined not to let Su Mo escape.

"Brother Helan…!" Young Master Gongsun called out to Helan Shang and followed behind him.

Helan Shang went to level 12 but he did not see Su Mo and thus he went down further to level 11.

He continued to pursue Su Mo until he got to the gate at level one.

However, Su Mo was nowhere to be seen and he had disappeared.

"How can this be?" Helan Shang looked pale. Su Mo has disappeared!

He must be at one of the levels! Helan Shang was furious. The gate was closed as it would open only on the ninth day, and thus Su Mo had to be in the Holy Hall.

However, he did not see Su Mo at any of the levels.

Su Mo must have changed his aura and looks and he was hiding somewhere.

Helan Shang regretted using only 10 percent of his strength earlier as he had meant to test if the person was Su Mo.

If he had used 30 percent of his strength, he would have captured Su Mo.

At that instant, Young Master Gongsun arrived in a flash and he stood beside Helan Shang.

"Brother Helan, why did you attack Su Mo?" Young Master Gongsun asked, looking baffled. He could not understand why Helan Shang had attacked Su Mo.

Su Mo was a person not to be trifled with. If he were to come to any harm, it would be comparable to harming the Dragon Tribe as the entire tribe would be implicated.

"I merely wish to find out if he is Su Mo!" Helan Shang said with a smile. He had no intention of telling Gongsun Changjue his motives.

He had wanted to check every level in the Holy Hall, but since Gongsun Changjue had appeared, he put away the idea. After all, it would be difficult for him to explain his actions since he did not want Gongsun Changjue to know the reasons behind them.

"He is indeed Su Mo!"

Gongsun Changjue said with a sigh. He had been to Dragon City and he recognized Su Mo when Su Mo threw out the blow.

Gongsun Changjue continued and said, "Since Su Mo intends to keep his ident.i.ty a secret, just let him be!"

"You are right!"

Helan Shang nodded and said, "Brother Gongsun, please go back and continue with your cultivation. I shall wait at level one since the nine-day period is around the corner."

"Alright!"

Gongsun Changjue nodded. He turned around and headed to level 13 of the Time Holy Hall.

However, Gongsun Changjue was smart. He felt that Helan Shang was behaving strangely. Have the people from the Undying Tribe decided to support Di Yihun or Tuoba Qingyun?

Gongsun Changjue was not sure and unconcerned even if it was so. Eternal Shrine would not get involved in the struggles between the three reincarnated bodies.

After Gongsun Changjue had left, Helan Shang did not search around for Su Mo. He simply sat cross-legged at level one.

He had decided to wait there for Su Mo as everyone would have to pa.s.s by the area to leave the Holy Hall.

However, Su Mo had the ability to change his looks and it would pose a problem for him. Even if Su Mo were before him, Helan Shang might not have been able to recognize him.

However, if he could not recognize Su Mo, he would forget about it.

Helan Shang believed that Su Mo intended to partic.i.p.ate in the Thousand Selection Fight and he would deal with Su Mo then.

There were many people at level 10, amounting to a few thousand people. The number was higher than at level 13.

Su Mo was among the crowd at level 10.

He knew that it was impossible for him to get out of Spatiotemporal City and thus he had stopped at level 10 with a new aura and looks.

Although the time at level 10 was moving rapidly, it was in no way comparable to level 13. However, it was still a great gain for Su Mo.

After staying around for some time, Su Mo heaved a sigh of relief when he saw that Helan Shang had not come around to search for him again.

Earlier on, Helan Shang had dashed past level 10 but he had not discovered Su Mo.

Su Mo would be safe if Helan Shang did not appear again. 

Soon, Su Mo shut his eyes and started to work on his cultivation. He condensed his Power Source and stabilized the cultivation level that he had just advanced to.
