"It seems odd indeed!"

The Ultimate Supreme Being nodded. His divine thoughts had covered the entire Empty Jade Sect. Based on his perception, the Sect was not exactly deserted. On the contrary, it was quite packed.

Basically all his disciples were in their respective rooms, behind closed doors.

Many had gathered in the main hall at the peak, most of whom were at the Seventh or Eighth Grades, considered the highest levels in the Empty Jade Sect.

These people had obviously known of their arrival, and were waiting in the temple.

"Is Yu Xuzi's case in the Empty Jade Sect unrelated to you?" Su Mo asked the Ultimate Supreme Bring. He presumed the matter was the Ultimate Supreme Being's doing with the intention of luring Ling Chang out.

But, now that he was there, the Ultimate Supreme Being showed no such indication. Rather, he was surprised by the situation at the Empty Jade Sect.

Confused, Su Mo thought, perhaps the matter really had nothing to do with the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace.

"What case?" the Ultimate Supreme Being asked, astonished. He was not sure what Su Mo was talking about. The Empty Jade Sect had not been in contact with him, and he had never concerned himself with the likes of such a diminutive force.

"You'll find out soon, let's go!" Su Mo sighed, sparing no explanation. It seemed the Ultimate Supreme Being really knew nothing about the Empty Jade Sect.

Otherwise, based on the other party's current situation, there would have been no need to hide from him.

Su Mo strode to the Holy Jade Hall, the main hall at the peak. With the Ultimate Supreme Bring next to him, he had nothing to fear. Nothing there could harm him. 

The Ultimate Supreme Being slightly furrowed his brows at this sight. He did not probe further as he followed Su Mo up the mountain.

Not long after, the two arrived at the front of the Holy Jade Hall. The gates were opened, and they could see dozens of people gathered inside.

Their arrival caught the attention of everyone in the hall.

"Who are you two? What business do you have at my Empty Jade sect?"

On the main throne, wearing a robe, was Yu Xuzi. His hair was almost white, and there was a holy ambience about him. He gazed at the two guests as he spoke aloud. 

Su Mo did not answer. He gave Yu Xuzi a once-over before striding into the hall with the Ultimate Supreme Being in tow.

"You two! You've caused harm to my disciple guarding the mountain. How brazen!" One of the stronger members in the Sect roared.

But he did not strike, for he knew nothing of the two uninvited guests, not their ident.i.ties nor their abilities, especially those of the middle-aged man at the back. He could not tell how far the man had come in terms of practice. 

"Are you Yu Xuzi?" Su Mo ignored the fighter as he spoke to the holy elder on the main throne.

"Yes, I am!" Yu Xuzi slightly bowed, stunned by the two people in front of him. The one in the lead should be at the fourth grade. He paid Su Mo no mind. However, the one at the back was a mystery. He could not detect his level.

"Senior Yu Xuzi, I heard that you've been severely injured and shall not be long in this world. But from what I see, you have very strong vitality, so it must have been just rumors I heard!" Su Mo said aloud with an air of indifference.

Silence fell throughout the hall. Glimmers flashed across the many eyes among the audience.

Whoos.h.!.+ Whoos.h.!.+ Whoos.h.!.+

Next, Su Mo and the Ultimate Supreme Being found themselves surrounded by a gang of fighters from the Empty Jade Sect. 

"Tell us, who are you?" Yu Xuzi spoke loudly to the two strangers in front of him who seemed to have come with ill intentions. 

"It doesn't matter who we are. Senior Yu Xuzi, what I want to ask is that since you seem unharmed, how did the rumors start?" Su Mo asked aloud too, looking unafraid.

Yu Xuzi stayed silent, but he looked gravely solemn.

"Fool! Since you are here today, don't even think about leaving!" A middle-aged fighter of the Empty Jade Sect called out and immediately grabbed Su Mo off his feet. 

If these people had to ask about this, then they had to be related to Ling Chang. Whatever it was, they would take them down and ask questions later.

The man who grabbed Su Mo did not intend to kill him. He just wanted to keep him locked up for serious interrogation.

Nevertheless, the man had a powerful grip. Its shadow was accompanied by a terrifying power that instantly shrouded Su Mo. It was like billions of mountains crus.h.i.+ng his head. 

This person's power was extremely scary. He had to be a middle-ranking, seventh grade warrior. 

In the face of this attack, Su Mo was unmoved, as though he had not seen it.

Just when the shadow of a claw was about to grab ahold of Su Mo, the Ultimate Supreme Being intervened. He slightly opened his mouth, allowing a stream of air to flow out. 

The air flow formed a sword, a particularly sharp one, and with a speed faster than the naked eye could see, it instantly exploded on the warrior.

Boom!

There was the sound of an explosion. The seventh grade warrior could not even manage to scream before he was annihilated by the Ultimate Supreme Being's stream of air, his physical self gone.

"What?"

"Impossible!"

Everyone in the Empty Jade Sect, including Yu Xuzi on the main throne, was startled by the scene.

The fighters backed off, keeping their distance from the Ultimate Supreme Being and Su Mo for now.

Their eyes settled firmly on the Ultimate Supreme Being. He seemed to be the young man's guardian, bearing such power. 

So, who in the world was this young man?

Yet, the Ultimate Supreme Bring remained indifferent. A Seventh Grade warrior was nothing more than an ant if he could be killed with a breath of air. It was just too easy.

He would not give it too much thought today. He was uncertain of Su Mo's purpose in coming there. He was only in charge of Su Mo's safety. 

"Senior Yu Xuzi, you haven't answered my question," Su Mo glared directly at yu Xuzi and inquired again. He wanted to get to the bottom of whatever had happened in the Sect and whoever wanted to lure Ling Chang out.

"This...!" Yu Xuzi's facial expression changed as he looked at Su Mo and then at another two fighters in the Sect. He seemed to have difficulty disclosing the information.

"Senior Yu Xuzi, what secrets do you have? Tell me, I'll vouch for you!" Su Mo added, peering at the two fighters close by.

One was tall, the other short. Both were middle-aged and, at the eighth grade, considered to be a few of the higher-leveled ones among the rest. 

Su Mo realized Yu Xuzi had been casting suggestive glances in their direction, as though wary of their presence.

"You'll vouch for me?" Yu Xuzi said, appalled. Who was this young man with such confidence?

"Sect leader, these two are suspicious, we should hold them down!"

"Yes, capture them! There's no way we can't find out who they are!"

At that moment, the tall and short fighters called out loudly.

They were fearful of the Ultimate Supreme Being's power. They wanted to strike but were unsure of it, so they hoped Yu Xuzi could order to hold them down.

Presumably, with Yu Xuzi's skills as a Ninth Grade fighter, holding the two down would not be a problem!

"Take them!"

Without waiting for Yu Xuzi to make a statement, Su Mo turned to look at the two fighters of the Empty Jade Sect while directing his commands to the Ultimate Supreme Being.

With that, the Ultimate Supreme Being released his fury again. With a wave of his sleeves, his golden power source swept out and instantly took hold of the two fighters.

The powerful force instantly bound the two, leaving them without any power to resist whatsoever.

"What?"

"A supreme level fighter?"

"How is this possible?"

As the two fighters of the sect were captured, the others were shocked, because all of them could tell by now that this man posing as a guardian was actually a supreme-leveled super fighter!
