Su Mo sat patiently at the bottom of the lake and waited. After around 10 minutes, two figures came down to the bottom of the lake like arrows and landed near Su Mo.

In a flash, Su Mo came beside the Ultimate Supreme Being and Yu Xuzi.

"Elder, please interrogate Chu Tianxu straightaway!" Yu Xuzi said hastily. He was more anxious than Su Mo.

The Ultimate Supreme Being nodded. He waved his hand and Chu Tianxu appeared in front of him.

There were still billows of air outside Chu Tianxu's body which acted as a golden s.h.i.+eld to cover him up.

"Where is my granddaughter, Chi'er?" Yu Xuzi questioned Chu Tianxu as he looked furiously at him.

Chu Tianxu looked pale and frightened. However, he was not afraid of Su Mo and Yu Xuzi but of the Ultimate Supreme Being.

He was afraid of the Ultimate Supreme Being not because he was an Advanced Supreme Being but because he was the Palace Master of the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace.

"Check his s.p.a.cial Device!" Su Mo said before Chu Tianxu could reply.

Yu Xuzi immediately searched through Chu Tianxu and found a s.p.a.cial Ring.

Other than some Dawn Stones, artifacts, and clothing, Chi'er was nowhere to be seen.

Within the artifacts, Yu Xuzi found three other s.p.a.cial Devices. Finally, Yu Xuzi found Chi'er in one of the s.p.a.ce Bangles.

Yu Xuzi brought Chi'er out of the s.p.a.cial Device. She was around 17 years of age. She looked a bit childish, and she was wearing a long dress. She had a fair complexion and fine features with arched brows, and she looked pretty.

"Chi'er!" When Yu Xuzi saw Chi'er, he hugged her as he was elated.

"Grandpa!" Chi'er cried out and hugged Yu Xuzi. She was frightened as she had been captured for some time and had lost her freedom.

It had been her constant fear that she would be killed and she was happy to be out of danger.

"You are safe now! You are safe now!" Yu Xuzi patted Chi'er on her back. He felt relieved that his granddaughter was out of danger.

"Greetings, Palace Master!" Chu Tianxu, who had been silent, finally spoke. Although he could not move, from the way he spoke, he meant to greet the Ultimate Supreme Being with a bow.

"Do you still remember that I am the Palace Master?"

The Ultimate Supreme Being said coldly, "You are in cahoots with Zi Xiao. How shall I punish you?"

"Palace Master, what wrong have I done?" Chu Tianxu asked.

"You have captured Yu Xuzi's granddaughter and betrayed the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace. Do you think it's right of you to do so?" Su Mo asked

Chu Tianxu glanced at Su Mo and did not refute it. However, he was filled with a killing desire.

He knew that it was Su Mo who was talking to him and Zi Xiao had been trying to capture him.

However, Chu Tianxu could not save himself at that moment and he did not have the ability to deal with Su Mo.

"Chu Tianxu, I can let you off if you atone for your wrongdoings!" The Ultimate Supreme Being said.

"Palace Master, I have not done anything wrong!" Chu Tianxu refused to admit that he was in the wrong and insisted that he was innocent.

"Chu Tianxu, you are unrepentant!" The Ultimate Supreme Being said with a cold look. He had the desire to kill Chu Tianxu and he could easily do so.

"Palace Master, I captured Yu Xuzi's granddaughter so that I could lure Ling Chang out. We can then use her to lure Su Mo out. Is this not what you and the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace have been trying to do? What wrong have I done!" Chu Tianxu defended himself.

"This…!" The Ultimate Supreme Being was stunned when he heard what Chu Tianxu had said. Chu Tianxu was right. The Ultimate Supreme Being Palace had been searching for Ling Chang and Su Mo and it was only recently that they had found Su Mo.

Moreover, Zi Xiao had not explicitly mentioned that he had betrayed the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace, and the Ultimate Supreme Being did not make it known that Zi Xiao had betrayed them. In that case, Chu Tianxu was not wrong to have followed Zi Xiao.

"Palace Master, recently, Zi Xiao asked me to go to Heavenly Palace and I followed his instructions. However, I have no idea what it is about!" Chu Tianxu said. 

"Zi Xiao betrayed the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace and he is now our enemy. Don't follow him anymore!" The Ultimate Supreme Being said coldly. Having said that, he waved his hand and the billows of air that had bound Chu Tianxu dispersed. Chu Tianxu immediately regained his freedom.

When Su Mo saw the scene, he knitted his brows. Chu Tianxu was not a simple person. He had s.h.i.+rked off all responsibilities.

"Yes, Palace Master!"

Chu Tianxu cupped his fist and bowed at the Ultimate Supreme Being and said, "Palace Master, Zi Xiao Palace Master is in Heavenly Palace and they will definitely help him. If he has betrayed Ultimate Supreme Being Palace, it will not be easy to deal with him."

Chu Tianxu was smart. He knew that he had been captured and the Ultimate Supreme Being would have known that Zi Xiao was in Heavenly Palace. He had chosen to play along with the Ultimate Supreme Being.

As long as Chu Tianxu's life was in his hands, Chu Tianxu would abide by his instructions.

"Palace Master, I will not let you down!" Chu Tianxu immediately said as he bowed at the Ultimate Supreme Being. He was taken aback by the Ultimate Supreme Being's actions.

He knew about the Death Seal and there was no way to break it. Other than the Ultimate Supreme Being, no one would be able to break it.

"Alright! You may go!" The Ultimate Supreme Being said as he waved his hand.

"Yes!" Chu Tianxu bowed and glanced at Su Mo before he flew out of the lake.

Yu Xuzi did not stop Chu Tianxu. Although he had a desire to kill Chu Tianxu, he was a n.o.body. He did not have the audacity to interfere with the matters of the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace.

"Elder, will he follow your instructions?" Su Mo asked softly as he looked sharply in the direction that Chu Tianxu had headed in.

Although Chu Tianxu's life was in the Ultimate Supreme Being's hand, Su Mo felt that Chu Tianxu may not deal with Zi Xiao for the sake of saving his own life.

Zi Xiao had brought Chu Tianxu along with him after he had betrayed the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace and that had proved that the two of them had a special relations.h.i.+p.

"I have no idea if he will do what I say. We just have to try!" The Ultimate Supreme Being said with a sigh. He knew what Su Mo was thinking, but they had to give it a try.

If he killed Chu Tianxu, it would not do him any good.
