Chapter 145 Two Statues

This room should be temporarily vacated by the airport staff. It was a small room, with only a tiny foldaway bed and a row of high metal cabinets. There wasn't even a TV or air conditioner.

"Well….." Chen Fan looked at Wu Ruoyu helplessly.

Wu Ruoyu mumbled a few times, while standing in the doorway. Miami was a typical subtropical seaside city, so both of them were dressed in their cool casual wear. Of course, neither of them would have dreamed of any snafu occurring to need any other attire!

Usually, midnight there was directly eight or nine degrees below Miami. So, Wu Ruoyu felt cold, even though she had a blanket. Moreover, Chen Fan was on the floor!

"You sleep outside, and I'll sleep inside." Wu Ruoyu struggled for a while, then finally sat on the bed. She then slowly took off her diamond-studded heels.

Chen Fan never thought that he had any bad fetishes, but when he saw Wu Ruoyu's golden and cherry jade toenail polish and her small crescent-shaped lotus feet, his eyes could not even blink.

Now, there are two kinds of men: rascals and hooligans. Chen Fan thought that he was the latter of the two, so when Wu Ruoyu curled up in the corner, leaving half of the bed to Chen Fan, he forced himself to only lay down, not making a single move.

The bed was so small. It was even tinier than the bed in the middle school dormitory! Chen Fan and Wu Ruoyu were separated by only a finger's width.

The bed was small, which meant that the blue quilt was not much bigger. Wu Ruoyu wrapped herself in more than half of it, then put out her left arm and pressed it firmly in the middle of the quilt to prevent Chen Fan from trying anything.

"Give me a bit of the quilt! I'm half exposed!" Chen Fan said, after he had tried to pull at the quilt two times, without succeeding.

"Pull it yourself!"

Wu Ruoyu's head was hidden under the quilt, her left arm now gently loosening.

His b.u.t.tocks was somewhat uncomfortable, hanging very close to the side of the hard iron bed. After Chen Fan pulled the quilt over, he further squeezed his body towards the center of the bed.

As the two lay gently next to each other, feeling the elasticity and heat of each other's skin, Wu Ruoyu's body was stiff. She seemed to want to escape, but the cement wall limited her movements.

"Heh heh."

Chen Fan's mouth silently opened into a sinister arc, then he transferred his mind to the electric eel. The two were in a state of heightened nervousness, so it was definitely not the right time for Chen Fan to play the hooligan. So, Chen Fan prepared to wait for an hour or two, hoping that Wu Ruoyu would go to sleep.

The electric eel had sailed to the top of the North Atlantic Ocean, just north of the island of Puerto Rico. Chen Fan was scared this time, so he did not dare let the electric eel go through the Bermuda Triangle.

The two crystal grey-white pyramids were so frightening, Chen Fan suspected that they were not created by human beings. After all, the the circular holes in the pyramid, which looked like the black hole of the universe, showed a suction that was simply not consistent with any humanly made things.

Two hours had pa.s.sed, and the electric eel had run for another 300 miles. Chen Fan pulled his thoughts back and showed his treacherous face.

Chen Fan was wrong: not everyone was as heartless as he was, so even if he was in the corner of the bed or under the palm tree, he could deal with it for one night. The trouble with Wu Ruoyu, was that she was very demanding about her sleeping environment, which made it difficult for her to fall asleep in the awkward position of crouching in a corner, not to mention lying next to a man.

To be honest, Wu Ruoyu honestly felt that Chen Fan was not bad necessarily. Although he was not really handsome, she definitely did not find him to be ugly. He would, however, look better in nice clothes. Most of all, she thought that this guy was not like most men, who are born perverts and flirt whenever they see a pretty woman.

Although the latest incident had made her feel very ashamed and angry, she decided that he couldn't really be blamed. After all, drunk people are like corpses!

Feeling the motionless man beside her, a warm smile appeared on Wu Ruoyu's face. It was rare that he could remain as still as a stake and not try to make a move on her…

"You…...pervert!" Wu Ruoyu's face was read, and she was panting, while holding the quilt. Her chest was heaving up and down quickly, as she was trying to catch her breath.

Chen Fan hurriedly scrambled up from the cement floor, then asked in his confused stupor, "What happened? Why did you kick me out of the bed, when I was just sleeping soundly?"

"You…...you…...you..."

Wu Ruoyu looked at Chen Fan's innocent face and felt that her throat was being blocked by an unknown fire. She pointed her trembling hand at Chen Fan, trying to stutter out words.

"What's wrong? Is it me?" Chen Fan's eyes widened, like he was seeing a ghost.

Bang!

Wu Ruoyu had grabbed the pillow next to her and threw it at Chen Fan's head!

At 8:30 in the morning, on a Boeing 747 bound for Beijing…..

Last night was difficult for the pair of them. They now sat like two Greek statues in their seats, both stiff and silent. The one inside was staring at the porthole, while the one sitting outside closed his eyes, not uttering a word.

Wu Ruoyu was going to blow up. This guy had not only insisted that he was not guilty, he even confusedly said that he had only been sleeping, and that she had smacked him for no reason!
