She pounced on him and reached out her arms to try and take it back. She had forgotten about the contagious thing, and only wanted to take her toy back.

“Ling Ling, tell your G.o.dfather, where did you get this? I don’t remember making you this.” Xiao Yunlong reached the gra.s.s dragonfly to his left side to keep Wu Yueling from touching it.

Wu Chengyue was also looking at the gra.s.s dragonfly curiously. He didn’t realize that his daughter had it either. Meng Yue turned around to look at it too. She found the gra.s.s dragonfly rather cute, just a little dry and dark-colored.

That’s a good thing.” In fact, all three of them had noticed that long ago. Wu Yueling was less afraid of people than before. At least, she wouldn’t try to hide once she saw Xiao Yunlong as she used to.

Moreover, she was much friendlier to Xiao Licheng too, who was driving the car.

At that moment, a tiny gra.s.s grew out of Meng Yue’s palm. The gra.s.s glowed faintly and leaned against the gra.s.s dragonfly.

“Ling Ling, look,” Meng Yue smiled to Wu Yueling and said. While she was speaking, a light greenness was slowly sent into the dried gra.s.s dragonfly from the tiny gra.s.s. Soon, the gra.s.s dragonfly turned green and lively again, as though made from fresh gra.s.s blades.

Seeing that, Wu Yueling paused in surprise. She fixed her eyes on the gra.s.s dragonfly, even forgetting that she was angry. Meng Yue then handed her the dragonfly; judging by her reaction just now, she must be treasuring that little toy greatly.

“Who gave it to her then?” Xiao Yunlong murmured confusedly.Wu Yueling hadn’t spent time with any other people but the three of them since she came back, so where did she get that little toy from?
