“Yes. CEO’s a.s.sistant.” She added more sugar into her milk in the process of answering his question.

Suddenly, Pei Ge, who had her head lowered, raised it and swept her eyes across the four corners of the shop, her face revealing confusion.

She could be wrong, but she felt someone’s stare.
