The man kept a tight grip around her wrist as he pressed her against the bed.

With upturned lips, he looked amusedly at her.

She widened her eyes at him and looked at him in disbelief before she blurted out, “A-Are you still not sober?!”

Seeing how she looked as if she had just seen a ghost, he could faintly figure out what he had done to her.

It turned out that his dream had indeed happened…

He looked at the woman below him in amus.e.m.e.nt and lowered his head to plant a soft kiss on her forehead.

She blinked blankly at his question. She was even more confused now.

“Are you actually sober now?”

At this moment, the doorbell rang again and interrupted the cozy atmosphere between the two.

She saw numerous sets of clothes when the door was opened.

Although there were many clothes, most were of the same design and color.

After catching a glimpse of the inside of his walk-in closet, she jumped off the bed and curiously followed him, barefoot.

Once she entered the walk-in closet, she noted that it was actually quite s.p.a.cious.

Three sides of the room had cabinets containing rows upon rows of clothes and shoes. On one wall was a huge mirror.

In the middle stood a large drawer filled with ties, socks, watches, cufflinks, and accessories.

She could not help but exclaim at all this.

“Wah! You’re unexpectedly vain!”

She giggled.

The man was unbothered by her comment and just selected a western-style suit to wear.

This was when she stopped him.

“Wait a minute!”

She called out for him to stop.

“Mhm?” He shot her a baffled look.

“Since you have a complete collection here, why don’t you let me choose your outfit?”

She beamed cheekily as she suggested to him.

“Okay.”

Without hesitation, he nodded in agreement and smiled at her gently.

She was delighted when he agreed easily.

She thought about what she was wearing tonight and looked around the closet. Not long after, she moved toward a cabinet.

“I’ll be wearing a red qipao evening gown for tonight’s dinner party. What about you?”

Her eyes darted around as she walked closer to a closet.

“You shall wear this black, dark-patterned suit!”

As she spoke, she selected a black suit with dark patterns. She brought it before the man and started to gesticulate.

Mhm! Not bad! The black matches my gown well, and this suit isn’t with the patterns.

“Okay.”

He received the suit from her and nodded lightly.

“As for your tie…”

She walked to the drawer in the middle of the room. She opened its transparent gla.s.s cover, and her hand glided across his ties one by one.

“This piece will do! A tie with purple-red polka dots!”

She happily removed the tie from its box and pa.s.sed it to the man.

“Okay.”

He again obediently received the tie from her.

“As for your cufflinks…”

Just like that, she selected his overall getup.

“We’re done! Change into your clothes while I change into mine!”

She clapped in satisfaction once she was done selecting his clothes and grinned at him.

“Okay.”

Seeing the smile on her face, the man’s lips curled into a subconscious smile.

She was about to leave the walk-in closet when she suddenly halted in her steps!

“Oh, right!”

Apparently, she recalled something important as she turned her head to eye the man.

“Yes. What’s the matter?”

“I’ll tie the tie for you later. Don’t you dare tie it yourself!”

She ordered haughtily.

The smile in his eyes grew brighter and wider at her order.

“Okay.”

He nodded lightly; his cold eyes were filled with affection.

She left the walk-in closet in satisfaction at his concurrence.

She fished out her phone as she opened the door and moved to call her mother to inquire where the latter had placed her evening gown for tonight’s dinner party. This was when she spotted a long dress box at the doorstep.

“Hm? What is this?”

Puzzled, she looked at the long, black box and bent down to open it.

“Eh?! Isn’t this my gown for tonight?”
