s.h.i.+ Guang glared at him and wrapped her arms around his shoulder while rubbing her nose against his face before moving in to kiss him on the lips.

He did not let down as he kissed her back as well.

The two of them were intertwined as their tongues curled around one another furiously. It was only after a long time that both of them peeled away from one another, breathing heavily.

She shut her eyes and rubbed her head against his body. “Well done, well well done!”

Her tears started flowing down from the side of her eyes uncontrollably once more. She tried her best to hold them back while sniffling, “Lu Yanchen, do you know how much I’ve hated and begrudged you for the two years?”

His eyes were mysterious and deep, replying calmly, “I do.”

“Do you know why?”

“I do.”

It was still as calm as ever, causing s.h.i.+ Guang to thump her fist gently on his chest. Both wanting to laugh and to cry, she buried her head in his chest. “Then why did you say nothing about it since you knew?”

“None of that matters anymore,” His lips curled into a faint smile. The most important thing was for them to be alright now.

“No, it matters!” She mouthed.
