Well, it’s either that, or he means that elves have more mental strength and can use stronger magic, but in return are weak to attacks directly on that mental strength. Think of it as if the elves are a paper plane with laser cannons, while humans like Lin Li are wooden planes with random machine guns or whatever. Elves can raise h.e.l.l, but go down with one hit to their body, and the humans can take a few hits, but have weaker attack power
