The Great Worm Lich Chapter 200 - The Hope of the Tribe's Revival

“You’re more horrifying than a Tyrannosaurus.” The girl noticed the bloodcurdling aura oozing out of Zhang Lisheng unwittingly when he was talking to the point that he actually caused several aborigines around him to take a few steps back, trembling in unison as they bared their teeth in a defying manner. They then lowered their heads deeply with a strange look in their eyes. “But you’re more attractive than Iron Man…”

When Maddie was complimenting her big boss, a beautiful black female officer who had an extraordinary disposition came out of a semi-permanent military camp in the ‘gathering place’ before striding to the beach port.

As she was walking, every officer who saw the red and blue sash on the female officer immediately saluted her. Without stopping, she returned the salutes continuously and headed straight towards the beach where the b.l.o.o.d.y conflict occurred.

With the sunlight of the setting sun, she crouched down to look at the sandy area carefully—at the rough beach sand, the bloodstains that gave off a thick b.l.o.o.d.y scent after it was moved, and the various-sized footprints. Everything seemed to be so ordinary and normal.

After observing for a few minutes and did not observe anything strange, the female officer stood up with a pair of sore legs and right at that instant, a small amount of sand on the edge of the bloodstain caught her attention.

“Sir, I’m Alison K. Ambel, the duty officer in the gathering place. I saw you have traded a lot of things with the aborigines, so I’d like to remind you that if you don’t intend to stay on this island, all of the local specialties here are not allowed to be taken outside.”

“Oh, thank you for your reminder…” Zhang Lisheng looked at the military rank of the beautiful female officer who had just walked up to him. “Miss second lieutenant, I don’t have the intention to take these things away with me. I just wanna observe them properly here on the island.”

“Observe them? The things you’re exchanging are all sorts of strange insects, so what is there… Oh, wait a minute! Could it be that you’re a biologist? But you don’t seem to be old enough to be one though.”

“I’m indeed studying at the Biology Faculty at Stanford University,” the young man said with an innocent smile.

“I’m sorry, Miss second lieutenant, my boss is not arranged to come to the island on the first day. Instead, he’s the future investor of this island.” When Maddie who was beside them heard that the conversation between the female officer and Zhang Lisheng was getting more and more private, a smile gradually formed on her face as she suddenly took the young man’s arm. “Lisheng, look at Mr. Charlie! “It’s already so obvious, so do you really want me to say it out loud? She’s trying to strike up a conversation with you! Some of these black-skinned women like Asian boys…”

“Striking up a conversation with me? The h.e.l.l? I don’t think she’s that silly.” Zhang Lisheng stopped the girl’s absurd a.s.sumption.

Looking at one of the supernatural realm’s insects similar to a ladybug that had long fangs and had a body size several dozen times bigger burst into a pile of flesh with a “pop” sound, he sighed and turned his attention on another insect that looked like a horned beetle but was brown in color without saying anything more.

After they got close to the only entrance of the gathering place that linked to the outer world, he looked up at the hedgehog-like cannons on the wall before turning to look at the dense jungle a few hundred meters outside of the entrance as he muttered to himself, “There are cannons but no guards. This is…”

“Oh, powerful Guardian of the Tudenan! Oh, great Son of the Sea Zhang Lisheng! You’re actually in this foreign tribe! G.o.d really blesses our tribe!” Without warning, a few aborigines who had just walked into the gathering place through the entrance while carrying animal skins and raw meats that were still dripping with blood suddenly knelt down on the ground and shouted with both sorrow and joy.

The time for the return voyage had finally arrived. Zhang Lisheng, who originally planned to refine the supernatural realm’s insects he traded with the aborigines one by one to try testing his luck, did not become upset over the death of all of his insects. Instead, after a period of tranquil contemplation, his agitated feelings had now calmed down.

After he embarked on the cruise, he looked at the human gathering place on the supernatural realm’s island that had 300 to 400 settlers remaining behind.
