Huo Yunting’s orders were for her and her only to send the doc.u.ments to his office. It made her feel all kinds of exasperation.

Mo Shan stood beside Huo Yunting, looking over his shoulder at the papers intently.

“Brother Yunting, let me be your secretary, please? We’ll be able to spend more time together and get to know each other better, don’t you think?”

The beautiful young lady was practically offering herself to Huo Yunting. Why did Huo Yunting act like he did not care?

He sat at his desk, looking calm and collected even though Mo Shan was almost brus.h.i.+ng against his back. Lu Zhaoyang wanted to vomit at the sight.

“I don’t deal with recruitment.” Huo Yunting looked up slowly at Lu Zhaoyang. “Anyone who’s interested must first be approved by my head secretary.”

“I think Ms Mo is a suitable candidate. She can start work immediately. President, please take your time with the doc.u.ments. I’ll come get them after you’re done signing. If there’s nothing else, I will take my leave!”

She responded almost immediately, without even taking the time to consider.

Lu Zhaoyang turned around with her head held high to make her exit. It did not matter if they were acting so lovey-dovey. If Huo Yunting cheated on her, she could even get a divorce.

That… would be perfect.

“Come back here!”

She was not two steps away when Huo Yunting called out sternly from behind her.

Lu Zhaoyang sighed inside and turned back to her boss with a standard corporate smile, but did not move an inch.

“Anything I can help you with, Mr President?” She asked with detachment.

“Your decision will affect the future of Thunderbolt Corp. Are you sure you are willing to let the daughter of a compet.i.tor’s president work as my secretary? What if she steals our secrets?”

Huo Yunting was being overly direct.

If he did not want Mo Shan as his secretary, why must he use her to make it happen?

Lu Zhaoyang smiled and looked to Mo Shan, who was a little startled. “You and Ms Mo have known each other since you were young. You should know if she is the kind of person to do something like that, don’t you think, Mr President?”

Mo Shan inched closer toward Huo Yunting, her b.r.e.a.s.t.s almost touching his shoulder.

Huo Yunting angled his body silently to maintain his distance.

“Brother Yunting, I will never do something like that. My loyalty is with you!”

Mo Shan just wanted to stay by his side and observe them both.

With Yu Man’er gone, she could get involved personally to cast Lu Zhaoyang out of Thunderbolt Corp.

Huo Yunting smiled and looked at her, ignoring her words. He said plainly, “I’ve known her since we were children, and I don’t remember much of what happened. People change. I think I know you more, sister.”

He knew all her sensitive spots, and every inch of her skin.

Lu Zhaoyang squirmed inside under Huo Yunting’s glare.

If she insisted on letting Mo Shan join their company, she was guaranteed a stressful time in bed tonight.

“Ms Mo, it would be a waste of your talents to work here as a mere secretary. The president would not want that. As for the recruitment of a replacement for Yu Man’er, it will be done as soon as possible.”

“It’s alright, I don’t mind where I work as long as I can stay near Brother Yunting. It would be an honor for me.”

Mo Shan’s eyes sparkled with an almost imperceptible show of resolution.
