Lu put on her bag, her eyes briefly scanned the suit on her desk.

“Great taste. The president will like it. Okay, got to go.”

“Alright, see you tomorrow.”

Lin Yazhi observed the cold beauty leaving the office a bit gracelessly. Something on Lu that teased her fas.h.i.+on sense. The wrinkles on her clothes – a fas.h.i.+on alert, especially the skirt, it was as if … it had been violently torn?

When they got back to their bungalow, after Huo sending his fanboy cruelly away with a simple wave, Lu dragged him all the way upstairs to his room before taking off his shoes completely.

She shut the door tight and leaned against the door, where Huo stood before him with his usual laid-back expression.

Staring at the brief smile on his face, her heart ached as the little request escaped accidentally from her mouth, “Could you not… do that again at the office?”

“That? What?” Replied Huo innocently, as if an accused suspect at a cross-examination.

“!” She ground her teeth.

You knew what I meant, stop acting as if I was born yesterday.

Both of them took their time so much that every single senior worker at the Secretary’s Office knew what “business” the two of them were doing.

Before they revealed their brother-sister relations.h.i.+p to the public, everything felt formal, proper and deem as a business conversation. Now… well…

“You know what I meant, Huo Yunting.”

“Well, Lu Zhaoyang, we had done quite a lot of stuff at the office, so I’m not sure which you want me to not do… like…” His hand caught her cheeks and his fingers slipped through her skin, with a curve at her neck that hooked her chin.

Lu shuddered, she froze till his hands grabbed her collar, “STOP!” She cried.

To be frank, Huo Yunting did not do anything outrageous to her body. He just rubbed her collar gently, with fingers accidentally stroking her neck.

“Don’t you think that would hinder our work progress a lot? A workplace is a place for work!” She emphasized, with a strong will to stop this from happening again.

“It’ll be easier if we open up ourselves to the public.” His fingers carried on rubbing her collar suggestively.

“NEVERMIND!” She slammed his hands down and opened the door behind.

What am I even thinking? When the h.e.l.l did that devil listen to my request before?

But before Lu left the room like the typical romance genre protagonist, the man grabbed her into his embrace again. Her hand remained at the door k.n.o.b, immobilized.

“Is that a ‘yes’?”

“What ‘yes’? You said nothing about your request, what do I say ‘yes’ to?” Said Huo with his nose on her neck, sniffing the pheromone effemated from her body – it was comforting.

“Okay, I need my dinner now. Bye.”
