Huo Chen took the folder and began skimming quickly. He reminisced the very day when the car suddenly plunged itself into the sea before bursting into flames after a long chase. If it was not the other more severe cases to which he needed to attend immediately that day, he would have inspected the sea levels thoroughly. But he presumed the lady driver dead with the other grunts in the organization so he left. It was such an irony that both him and the driver met each other again at Golden City last night.

There were actual survivors from that organization. It was almost unbelievable.

“Sir, to whom does this car belong to?” Asked Song Shou in bewilderment.

“A terrorist,” answered Huo Chen as his grip quivered.

It looks like I have to stay here for the moment. I must capture the remnants of the organization. That woman.

“Then what do you propose we do? We are supposed to be back to the Capital tonight.”

ADC Song was right. They basically sneaked out without informing the old lady at the mansion. The entire operation must be kept secret, however, considering how much danger would have been imposed on the elderly if she was made aware of the case.

“Yes, sir.” Song Shou nodded solemnly, agreeing on the need of settling the terrorists in the City.

“You may leave now,” muttered Huo Chen as he began checking out the doc.u.ment in his hands again. He did intend to stay and the world had given him the best reason to do so. Thirty minutes later, he left the office and drove straight to Ge Yu Corp. That was his reason to stay, thought Chen as he viewed the tall building nearby.

Huo Chen stayed in his car pondering as he observed the building glowing in various tiny lights. He took a deep breath and zoomed away.

“Hm?” In the midst of silence, Zhaoyang’s landline rang. It was President Xiang, calling her to be at the meeting room immediately.

“Huh?” She frowned in confusion as she checked out the time, “It’s almost midnight now. Who holds meetings at 11 p.m.?” She walked to the meeting room with antic.i.p.ation, only to see the president there—and—

“Mo Shan?” She gasped and could not believe her eyes.

She calmly knocked at the door and entered, “Yes, President?”

The president tapped the transparent surface of the gla.s.s table rhythmically, as he lifted his jaws, “This is Miss Mo, a representative from the Mo family of the Capital. She’s here for our upcoming collaboration and you’ll lead it.”

“Okay, President.”

“Special a.s.sistant Lu, was it? Well, I hope we will have an enjoyable time together. It’s quite late now, how about you join me for supper?” Invited Mo Shan with a smile as she stood up, “President Xiang, you aren’t turning me down, aren’t you?”

“It’s Miss Mo. I must,” responded President Xiang as he stood up with a brief smile on his face.

Zhaoyang could not help but enlarge her eyes.

“Sister?” President Xiang sent a cold beam of curiosity to them upon hearing the unexpected t.i.tle, “Are you two…”

“We aren’t biological sisters. She’s my sister-in-law. Yup, her elder brother is my fiance,” said Mo Shan shyly, “Zhaoyang is the sister of the president from Thunderbolt Corp. Hope President Xiang will look after her on our behalf from now on.”
