Lu Zhaoyang’s mind was blank losing her job.

“What for?”

“To see the time. Err, no. To tell the time.”

She could not see but must not live without even knowing the time.

“I am eating. I am a little sleepy too. I will sleep with you.”

He wrapped his big hand around her skinny waist, without touching her wounds.

“Let’s sleep. I am going to eat you if you don’t sleep.”

“You are still bullying me even when I am injured.”

“No matter what you become, I will continue to bully you. Don’t try to hide, you are going to repay what you owe me, and things have just begun.”

It was a quiet and peaceful night. But Lu Zhaoyang did not really have inner peace.

Now, she could no longer see and had lost her job. She had a problem going out by herself. She had tons of challenges that she needed to overcome.

She still did not know how to tell her blindness to her mother.

The thoughts bothered her the whole night and Lu Zhaoyang did not get to sleep.

She would like to look at him as much as she wanted to see the outside world.

She especially missed the smile on his lips and his soul-hooking mesmerizing eyes.
