Lin Yazhi recalled with her eyes closed. “Yes, it must be him!”

“You still remember things so long ago?” Lu Zhaoyang asked. Chen had only dropped in once.

“I can remember the face of handsome guys for at least ten years.” Lin Yazhi patted her chest proudly. “Have you found a place to stay? I am staying alone now. You can come to stay with me if you don’t mind. I can help you look after Xuxu and we can go to work together. What do you think?”

“It sounds great. But won’t I trouble you too much?” Lu Zhaoyang looked at the little guy who was playing with the other children. It was inconvenient to stay in a hotel with a child but she had no time to search for a house. What was more important was that Lin Yazhi could help her look after Xuxu and she found that she had no reason to decline the offer.

“Not at all. There are plenty of rooms. Come on!”

Overwhelmed by Lin Yazhi’s fervent persuasion, Lu Zhaoyang nodded with a smile.

In the evening, Lin Yazhi drove Lu Zhaoyang and her son to a ma.s.sive farmhouse-styled building. Lu Zhaoyang finally understood what Lin Yazhi meant by saying that there were plenty of rooms—it was a mansion.

“Xuxu, let’s thank Aunt Lin for her hospitality.” Lu Zhaoyang nudged her son with a smile.

“Thank you, Aunt Lin. Other than Yang Yang, you are the most beautiful!” Little Huo Xu flattered and made Lin Yazhi break out in laughter.

Lin Yazhi might be staying alone but the mansion was kept spotless. Apparently, she was not the one doing the cleaning.

Lu Zhaoyang walked into the guest room opposite that of Lin Yazhi. It was a blue-themed, Mediterranean-styled decoration. Lu Zhaoyang liked the place instantly by just looking at the light blue floating curtains.

Little Huo Xu seemed to like the place too. He fell asleep early and had no problem getting used to the new environment.

The next day, Lin Yazhi saw the sumptuous breakfast on the dining table as soon as she came downstairs. She could not help but pat herself on the back for her wittiness. Otherwise, there would not be such a hearty breakfast awaiting her.

“Sister Zhaoyang, inviting you to stay at my house is the best decision I have ever made. I will take your cooking instead of the rent!” Lin Yazhi sat at the table and began to feast with the little guy.

“I feel like I am taking care of two children.” Lu Zhaoyang smiled as she looked at the two. She took the bread out of the oven and began to dine.

Halfway through, the phone on the table vibrated. Lu Zhaoyang took a glance and saw that it was a message from Huo Yunting.

Secretary Lu, put the breakfast on my desk . The message read.

Heck, he really knew how to milk her, Lu Zhaoyang thought.

Lin Yazha also glanced at the message curiously and then swept her eyes over the food on the table. “We may not be able to finish all the food. Let’s bring some to the president.”

Little Huo Xu blinked and looked puzzledly at Lu Zhaoyang after hearing that it was about Uncle Yunting. He could vaguely feel that Yang Yang and Uncle Yunting were very close. Yang Yang never told him that and she even lied to him that she did not know Uncle Yunting. Apparently, she used to work in Uncle Yunting’s company.

Back in the office, Lu Zhaoyang settled down her son before going into the president’s office.

Huo Yunting, who used to be coming in late, was already there sitting with his legs crossed in his chair. It looked like he had been waiting for a long time.

“Here you go, your breakfast.” She put down the meal bag, turned and left.

“Don’t go just yet. I want a morning kiss.” Huo Yunting yelled.
