“A morning kiss?” Lu Zhaoyang shot him a sideways glance. “Get it from your Ming Yue. I have a lot of work to do here!” She strode away.

Three days later, Lu Zhaoyang submitted the Autumn Water bidding draft to Huo Yunting. “Read it and see if this is okay. We can refine it further. The project is important because if we can win it, it will at least hinder the advancement of Xiang Yuan Corp. in the city.”

Huo Yunting took the draft and quickly flipped through the pages. “Not bad. Go ahead.”

He just glanced at it once. Was he sure he had read it?

“This is not a play, Mr. President. Please be more serious. You could not have possibly finished reading it that fast even if you could read ten lines at a glance!” Lu Zhaoyang snapped. Did he really take Xiang Yuan Corp. seriously? Why did he still have no sense of crisis when the Huos had already gone belly-up.

“It is just Xiang Yuan Corp; there is no cause for concern.” Huo Yunting put the draft on the desk. “You should go out and unwind with me if you have the time. I am tired of all this work.”

Lu Zhaoyang buried her face in her hands. Not wanting to waste time with him anymore, she took back the file. “Since Mr. President thinks that everything is fine and dandy, I will proceed accordingly.”

Hot under the collar, Lu Zhaoyang returned to her office and felt much better when she saw Little Huo Xu was swiping his iPad on the couch.
