“Okay.” The little guy took the cup and just before he drank it, Yan Se walked in, attracting his attention. He said, “Aunt Lin, look! The lady is pretty!”

“Oh, you are so sweet!” Yan Se took out a lollipop from her bag and squatted before him. “This is for you.”

“Yang Yang said I should not eat candy.” Little Huo Xu obeyed his mom’s words, declining the lollipop with tears in his heart.

“Lu Zhaoyang is your mommy?”

“To settle an account with you. Tell me, why did you not tell me that Boss has a child?” Yan Se scanned the room. She found no snacks besides cigarettes and pens. Point deducted! She said in her mind.

“I did not tell you because I was not sure about it.” Huo Li figured that Yan Se had probably seen the kid. He bowed his head and turned his attention back on the computer screen.

“Don’t lie to me! How could Lu Zhaoyang’s seed not be from Boss?” Yan Se slouched on the couch with her legs resting on the coffee table. “Their son has grown this tall yet both of us are still single. So, I plan to take you as my man, I guess I can live with it. With a pretty woman like me as your girlfriend, it is a bargain!”

“Please don’t be too hard on yourself. You’re not my cup of tea,” Huo Li said. Lin Yazhi’s innocent face and the cleavage of her b.r.e.a.s.t.s under the tight halter top suddenly came to mind.

“You little rascal. You already have a girlfriend?” Yan Se cackled. “Who is it? Do I know her?”

“Lu Zhaoyang has never mentioned it. It could be of Second Master, or it could be of Brother Ting. No paternity test is done. The child is still a mystery.”

“Mystery my foot. Boss did not do it; we can. I will get the child’s DNA sample, and you the boss’s.” Yan Se could not wait to know the truth.

“Why don’t you get Brother Ting’s sample?” Huo Li asked.

“I would like to. But then, you would have to collect my body,” Yan Se said. She was a woman and she was not Lu Zhaoyang; by getting close to Boss, she must be prepared to die.

Huo Li gave her an irresponsible reply. “I would help discard your body, no worry.” In fact, he had quietly obtained the child’s hair. So, her help was not needed.
